Hi lovelies! long time no update🤭

Y'all my drafts finished and I had to start typing again😂 Honestly I forgot how stressful this was.

I really wanted to write much this summer but laziness- 1 Aidah- 0 🥲

And also, I'm not getting the motivation from you guys😭 I think that's why I'm not even feeling the zeal to write all the time. Now, we wouldn't want that, right?

If you want more of Doctor Lulu and Her soldier, you have to do better with those comments and votes! 😅

Enough of my blabbering, here's chapter 9 and I really do hope you like it! 🩵

Batoul sat quietly on the bed thinking of a way to tell her sister about the impromptu trip Bashir had told her about. Bashir told her that they were traveling to Lagos for the weekend.

"Lulu, I don't have all day, please tell me whatever it is you want to say." Adda Halima said.

Batoul nodded. "Adda, Bashir is going to Lagos."

Halima gave her sister a nod, ushering her to continue. "Okay. And?"

Batoul cleared her throat. "He wants me to go with him."

Halima slowly nodded, as though trying to process what her sister just told her. "Okay, he's your husband now, Lulu. Even though you are not living together just yet, you can travel together I suppose." She said as a matter of fact, wondering why Batoul was being so nervous about talking about it initially. She thought Batoul was going to tell her something entirely different, she wasn't expecting this.

Batoul let out a sigh of relief. She has been procrastinating on telling her sister that for a week now. Now that they've given her the go-ahead, she is glad. Amongst all of them, Halima is the most strict. So a yes from Halima ,is a yes from everyone else.

"When does Aslam get back from school?" Batoul asks, diverting the topic to her nephew.

Halima, who was typing on her phone, replies. "He should be back anytime now."

Halima cleared her throat. "Batoul?" She called.

"Na'am, Adda?"

"Daddy gave money for your house furniture shopping. Whenever you're free, we can go out and search for them."

She nodded. "Okay Adda."

"There's this place, 'furniture house' in the central area. I really like their furniture, it's so classy. We should start from there."

Batoul nodded as her sister continued. "Maijiddah and I went to the house you're going to live in the other day, it's in Jabi. There are four bedrooms and two living rooms in the house but Bashir's room is already in the process of being furnished, as well as one of the living rooms." Adda Halima finished while Batoul only nodded.

After two hours of going through instagram for anything home interior with her sister, Batoul decided to leave Adda Halima's home as she's been there for a week now. She's to go back to Adda Jiddus'. She's missed her baby Mimi very much, she can't wait to see her.

She prayed Maghrib and left Adda Halima's house and went to Apo, to Jiddus's house. She arrived at her sister's house after a few minutes as it was not too far from Adda Halima's house. As she entered the house, she heard voices from the living room which meant they had guests over. She took a deep breath and walked into the living room.

As she entered the living room with a Salam, she saw her sister Maijiddah, her husband Farouk and her sister-in-law Amira. She was so surprised to see her there as she wasn't expecting her, of all people.
