The silver-haired boy still felt lost despite making himself familiar with his surroundings. There were several questions floating through his head such as, how did I even get here in the first place or why do a majority of the people i've seen walk by have nen abilities despite having their aura nodes closed but before he could even fathom the answers to these questions he needed to gather information. A lot of information at that. So, he decided to visit a library.

Killua walked up to a random bookshelf and inspected the books all around it. None of the books here are written in my language either. Maybe I'm in some sort of closed off country then, one where hunters aren't known. He shook his head in frustration. No, maybe I'm overthinking this and I just checked a shelf that didn't have it. He went over to several other shelves and with each one he checked, he came to the same solution he had earlier. Maybe this is some sort of closed nation then. I can't understand any of the characters written so I'll probably have to watch documentaries or videos about it. Either that or I'll have to learn another language. Learning another won't be fun though. He rested his hand upon his chin and made his decision. It'll be easier for me if I just searched online so I suppose I'll start with that.

Killua took his hand off his chin and looked around. There appeared to be an area with computers to his right so he went in that direction and sat down in a chair in front of one of the computers. The computer, luckily, allowed access without needing any ID for use. He just needed to create an account and it would allow him to use it. He sighed out in relief and sat back in his chair "that's good, I wouldn't know what to do if it required that I have a license of some kind." If this is some kind of isolated country that doesn't have any reference to his language at all then it's probably safe to assume that my hunter license doesn't work here. Earlier when he was observing the people passing by, he also saw the technological advancements and deduced that they were the same as his normal nation. He sat up and started looking up towards the open computer. He opened the browser listed on the computer and then a realization hit him. He looked off to the side and whispered "I can't read any of this". Oh right! Everything in this nation appears to be the same technologically as the outside world so it probably has a voice feature of some kind. His eyes trailed around different sides of the screen looking for some symbol of a microphone. He went on for several minutes prodding around the browser until he finally found it. That took longer than it should've. He clicked on the mic and activated it. Luckily, it seemed as if the computer had a mic built in. He didn't have money so not having to buy one for this came in handy. He decided to speak more quietly so as to not make people suspicious of whatever he is doing. "Where am I currently?" he leaned into his computer more so people couldn't hear him. The computer responded with "Musutafu City, Japan''. He couldn't understand that either though. Hopefully there is a microphone feature for this too. Luck was on his side today as that appeared to be the case. The computer spoke again 'Musutafu City, Japan. Japan? That doesn't sound familiar either. When I was doing assassin training, I had to memorize the world map, countries, and their capitals, and for some reason, this isn't listed. Maybe it's a newly formed country? No, my family or at least would've mentioned it to me. So what the hell is going on? Killua snapped out of his thought process and began to search up other topics. I suppose I should try to understand this nation's language. It'll help me get around better. He went up to and whispered 'japan's official language' to the computer and a couple of links became available to him. He scrolled through the list. All of them seem to be in this nation's language. I guess it doesn't matter which one I pick then. He scrolled up and clicked the third link available to him. The link read 'japan's language for foreigners! Basic kanji and hiragana!' though he couldn't understand it. He navigated around the website confused until he saw a button that appeared to have a Japanese character going into another symbol. He recognized the letter as being a part of the latin alphabet. Killua soon recognized the two symbols to be translation symbols and decided to click on them. He scrolled through the list trying to find his world's language and found himself stumped. If they are including every other language here, why not his own? Does this nation not recognize it as an official language? He shook his head in confusion. "Nothing has made sense since I got here." Whatever, I know most of the other languages here anyway. It won't be an issue. He scrolled up the list and picked 'english' as his language choice. I'm not the best at English but I can understand it better than these other languages. He read through the page and its contents. It seemed to be trying to teach outsiders the basics of Japanese and even had a chart that represented what all the characters meant. However, he noticed something strange about it. It seems to be a substitution for his language. certain characters mean the same thing, only the characters representing them changed. That's weird. I suppose I should write this down though. He looked around at his surroundings, seemingly looking for a piece of paper and a pencil. "I suppose sitting here won't help me find them."
