When Reina awoke she sat up and looked out through the window. The sky had turned a deep gray and it was getting hard to see things not in the cabin's immediate vicinity. She was still groggy from sleep and also didn't recognize the elephant in the room, sitting up and staring down the window with her. She was so focused on the storm that she didn't notice him at all. As she rubbed her eyes, however, her mind started to race as she discovered... The boy is awake! I need to get Hazuki up.

She wasn't gentle at all and rattled his whole body in order to get him up and moving. She was scream whispering something into his ear "He's up! Get up! Now!" Only on the word 'now' did he rouse from his slumber, muscle memory serving as his guide to not get hit. "Huh?" He sat up in confusion not recognizing why she was so concerned about things until she instructed him to look out the window. He almost missed it and then— "oh." He saw him awake.

Hazuki completely jumped from his sitting position not knowing what to do now that he and Reina were put into this position. He tried to put on his friendliest voice possible to speak to the kid "uh, hey, kid. Glad to see you're awake." He rubbed his scruffy facial hair in an attempt to think on what to say to the kid next. The kid didn't seem to recognize they were there before and tilted his head in their direction. For the first time, the couple could see what the kid was like. Sure they knew what he looked like from all the work they did on helping him but you can't really feel out a personality from an unconscious body. As he turned towards them Hazuki got a good look: he had honey brown eyes that seemed confused, his eyebrows stretching upwards and his lips in a pout. Hazuki's quirk allowed him to sense something's general emotions but he didn't need to use it to realize the kid was confused. The kid opened his mouth to speak and said "hi?"

"So, kid, what happened to you?" Kid's face scrunched up in confusion and both could tell he couldn't give a clear answer. What he actually answered surprised them both more "I don't remember. My memory's all fuzzy. I can't remember anything." The couple traded worried glances and came to the same conclusion: he has amnesia. The kid put a hand to his cheek and tried to think some more but to no use. Nothing was popping up in his head at all. "You can't remember anything? Do you mean about your fall or something else?" The kid glanced at them and clearly looked scared and he shouted "I can't remember anything! Who am I?!" He felt his wife's emotions flare up with the kid's and almost tripled when he started crying. She was also clearly alarmed and when he used his power on the kid, he could tell the kid's panic was real. I'm not the best at comforting people but if this goes on Reina could get hurt as well. He held his hands up towards the boy and started whispering silent comforts to him in hopes it might calm him down a bit. He slowly approached him making sure not to alarm him and the boy practically wrangled Hazuki down with him, using Hazuki as his personal teddy bear.

His sobs slowly turned silent and he had completely stopped crying after a while. As Hazuki whispered one last 'it's okay' he gently let go of the kid. The kid looked back at him with silent eyes as he moved back to sit next to his wife. "Now that you're feeling okay, do you mind telling us anything you know?" The kid seemed to be struggling to answer so he decided to push one more thing to convince him "if we know anything about what happened then maybe we can figure out who you are." The kid looked down at the blanket surrounding him and back at the people greeting him with smiles and he decided to say something "the only thing I remember before I woke up here was a sense of 'falling'." The couple raised a brow "falling?""yes. I felt wind on my arms pushing up." The couple were theorizing in their heads for a moment before the kid continued "it was like that for a while. Until I hit something..." the kid gulped down something and stuttered onwards "i-it hurt a lot. And then it happened a lot of times and it wouldn't stop." Hazuki could sense his wide tensing up again. It's fine Reina! It's fine! He squeezed her hand "and then I heard a thud and I stopped moving. I couldn't open my eyes before that but when I did, I saw a
Grey Sky." He stopped talking.
