"I told you to wear elbow pads."
"No one cool wears those."
"I did at your age."
"Exactly."
Daphne pinched Lottie's good arm and turned back to the stoplight. After a small mishap during a bike ride the girls took Lottie fell and Daphne was taking her to the hospital for stitches.
"How much you think your mom's gonna freak?" Daphne asked biting the inside of her cheek.
"Loads, but Dad will probably calm her down when she gets home."
Lottie and Daphne were sent to a room to be have her arm looked at and were currently chatting about which boys she liked when the door was flung open to reveal a very frazzled looking Louis.
It was official, the world just hated Daphne.
After the dinner at the Tomlinson's back in February where Daphne had promptly managed to embarrass herself multiple times in front of him and have him tell her "Never have I ever seen someone make spilling a salt shaker look so beautiful". She had vowed never to make contact with him again.
Although Johanna's constant nagging about the fact that he asked about her "every time I speak with him". But that was just Jay's way of exaggerating.
"Lottie mom told me what happened- oh hello Daphne!" He spoke quiet rushed until he noticed her and waved.
"I have to get stitches but Daphne's here to watch me so you don't need to stay." Lottie said. Louis put his hand up to his heart and got a mock hurt expression on his face.
"Moi? You don't need me anymore well fine be that way!" He made a show of his dramatic exit. Lottie muttered something about him being a drama queen under her breath. Not ten seconds later he came back in plopping down in the seat next to Daphne.
"I have no ride home."

After Lottie's stitches were finished the three were heading back to Daphne's car. Lottie asked that the two leave while she got them and the two spent time out in the halls getting to know each other better.
Daphne could have sworn he was flirting with her. Although she didn't have much experience to go off of.
Getting into the car Daphne turned on the radio and immediately Lottie groaned. "Here it comes."
"Here comes what-"
"WHEN YOU SMILE AT THE GROUND IT AIN'T HARD TO TELL YOU DONT KNOW-UH-OH!" Louis shouted then turned to Daphne and sang to her "YOU DON'T KNOW YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!" She reached for the knob laughing and turned down the radio.
"You sure are something Louis Tomlinson."
"You know it." He punctuated the sentence with a wink in her direction sending her into a fit of laughter while Lottie rolled her eyes from the back seat.
