CHAPTER ONE THE TWINS "you look so happy when i'm not with you" ˚✧₊⁎*⁎⁺˳✧༚
DURING summer, Shivani and suprisingly enough come to know a handful of people. One of which was having a party tonight.
Okay so, her friend was having a party. It was her birthday, apparently, and Shivani's new friend Danielle had insisted she'd come. The mermaid had been highly skeptical. Lydia had cancelled last minute which meant that Shivani had no ride and pretty much no one to accompany her. Danielle had been persisted, going so far as to insist on driving Shivani to the party. The Caddel girl had, at last, agreed. Despite wanting to do nothing more than linger in bed alongside Milton, she was already dressed up. And she figured she might as well try staying friends with this girl, especially now that she was putting this tremendous amount of effort in.
"You look great!" Danielle had chirped cheerfully the second Shivani got into her gray Toyota. The girl was without a doubt cheerful. She was incredibly fun to be around at parties, but Shivani hadn't associated with her outside of one. Danielle carried the conversation naturally, which Shivani was greatful for. That meant that she could sit back and relax without things turning awkward.
The ride to the party went by fast with Danielle's constant chattering. Shivani had been stunned at the amount of partygoers when they arrived at the party. Her wide eyes caused Danielle to laugh. "Heather wanted us to invite everyone we knew. She wanted it to be the 'biggest party of the year' or something." The girl explained as she and Shivani entered the party. The Caddel girl examined the room. So far, the only face she recognized belonged to Danielle.
Danielle quickly departed from Shivani as she scavenged for drinks. The Caddel girl resided to a coach located in the livingroom. She slid into the last available seat trying her best to ignore the couple making out at the other end. The thumping music was starting to give her a headache as she began to regret coming. The loud music and thick crowd of people was simply insufferable when sober, Shivani decided. After a whole hour, insufferable had transformed into having fun. By an hour and a half, it was safe to say Shivani was beyond tipsy.
"Hey, I don't want sound like a stalker but. . ." A boy approached Shivani who was fetching drinks for herself and Danielle. The Caddel girl looked him up and down quickly. Her vision was ever so slightly blurred, but as far as she could tell, he was pretty handsome. She couldn't quite pinpoint who he was, but he was definitely familiar. "I think I know you."
"Oh?" The mermaid queried.
"You go to Beacon Hills high, right?" He continued. Shivani nodded. "I've probably seen you there. My brother and I just started."
