No ones POV

As the sun rose the light shone brightly, and one Damian Clark was waiting impatiently on his sofa. Today was the day his homestay was meant to arrive and the document said that they would arrive anytime from 12am to 3pm, currently it was 2:37pm and he was worried for when they would get here, not to mention just who would be staying with him for the foreseeable future all that he had been told was the date of their arrival along with the time.

He couldn't sit still anymore and resorted to pacing around the room.

As he waited for the arrival of the government agent and his homestay Damian reminisced on why he signed up for this program in the first place.

Flashback

As he laid on his bed the old mattress creaked and groaned beneath his weight, and he thought to himself about his current money situation or rather his lack of money. He was going through a dry patch, no one seemed to need much software work done at the moment and that left him without any work or money, but one day when watching the news a new announcement from the government about a new program that they were implementing to 'foster better relations between humans and anthros'.

This program named the Living Aid Program was dedicated to helping out anthros with Megalomorphia, a new and debilitating genetic mutation that occurred during puberty and came with a variety of effects but the main one which gave it its name was the increased size of a part of the person's body and while not directly lethal the challenges provided with trying to live with a now disproportionate body were severe, some were even left immobile or in debt due to modifications to peoples houses or food bills from changing dietary requirements and this program sought to remedy these problems with this program.

The program gave those involved many benefits including, but not limited to: a weekly cheque for expenses, free modifications to housing to ensure that homestays would have a comfortable stay, and coverage for any unique needs of the homestay. These were the most important benefits and were what lead to Damian signing up to join the program not only to earn himself a consistent wage but also to get another person in this lonely life of his.

Within minutes he was up from his bed and signing into his PC to fill out the various forms to join the program it took him nearly an hour to fill them all out but it was done. It took 2 days for him to receive an email in response to his application giving him a time and date for his homestays arrival along with the information of his co-ordinator for the program, and was what left him in this state of anxiety as it got closer to the day of arrival.

Flashback End

Damian stopped his pacing and tried to calm himself down "Come on Damian, you're better than this getting worked up by meeting some new people!" yet as he said that he heard the knock at his door scaring him out of his thoughts, he jogged through the living room towards the doorway took a deep breath and opened the door.

Behind that door he was met face to chest with his co-ordinator, Ms. Kyōko Furukawa, a tall and beautiful Japanese woman. She stood at 6ft tall with long black hair reaching to her mid back, a mature face that belonged to a mother yet was on a woman that looked barely out of her 20s, she was dressed in a dark suit and tie with a white shirt underneath with the top button undone showing a tiny amount of cleavage. "Good afternoon Mr Clark, I am here on the behalf of the governments Living Aid Program. I am your co-ordinator and supervisor for this exchange, you may call me Ms. Furukawa and I will let your homestay introduce herself."

Well at least he knew that it was a woman that was going to be staying with him.

After saying that the woman stepped to the side and letting Damian see the large black van with the L.A.P marking of the program's initials, as the back of the van opened he saw a large black-furred hand reach out and grab onto the frame before pulling the rest of themself out into the light.
