The Battle

The two woke up to a loud knock on the door.

"WAKE UP OR IM KNOCKING THIS DOOR DOWN!" Sakura yelled as she pounded hard on the door. Naruto nuzzled his head into Sasuke's chest gesturing that he doesn't want to move.

"Come in," Sasuke mumbled as he rubbed his eyes. Sakura bursted through the door and saw Naruto sleeping on top of Sasuke.

"I don't even want to know," She started and sighed.

"Let's go! We have training so hurry!" She yelled causing Naruto to sit up.

"Shut up. It's like 5:00" Naruto replied and yawned as he laid back down on Sasuke.

"IT 11:00 WAKE UP ASSHOLES!" She screeched causing Kakashi to walk in.

"Stop screaming," Kakashi said coldly causing Sakura's temper to rise even more.

"Don't" she snapped back coldly. It may have only been one word, but it was enough for Kakashi to back off. Kakashi glared at her with his one eye and walked off reading his Icha Icha Paradise book.

"WAKE UP NOW!" Sakura screamed at the raven and blonde. Naruto reluctantly got up and stretched. Sakura nodded and walked away.

The two walked downstairs to eat lunch.

"Finally," Sakura commented and scoffed.

"Shut it bubblegum," Naruto snapped back. As they ate, there was an unsettling quietness.

"Kit!" Kurama yelled.

'What!?' Naruto asked in panic

"I have been napping for ONE DAY and you are now dating the Uchiha! Tell. Me. Everything!" Kurama exclaimed.

Naruto sighed before replying, 'just look through my memories or something. I'm eating!'

"NARUTO!" Kakashi screamed in his face.

"Huh? Yah?" Naruto asked returning to reality.

"What kind of La La land we're you in?" Sakura asked.

"Just talking to Kurama," Naruto answered and shrugged.

"You can talk to her anytime you want?" Sasuke asked curiously.

"Yeah, but she is usually napping," Naurto replied and finished eating.

"Cool," Kakashi commented and got up.

"Let's go," Kakashi said and gestured to the door. The rest of team 7 got up and walked out the door. As they walked out, they heard a loud BANG come from the bridge. They all glanced at each other before the four started running in the direction of the bridge. Once they got there, they saw hundreds men, Gato, and a hunter nin.

"What's going on here?" Kakashi asked.

"It's Gato and his men!" Tazuna yelled in fear as he pointed to the large crowd of swards men.

"That's the boy," a hunter nin said grabbing Gato's attention.

"The blond one?" Gato asked.

"Yes sir. He killed Zabuza," the hunter nin replied pointing to Naruto. Naruto felt a pit of guilt grow in his stomach.

"But he is a child," Gato explained gesturing to Naruto.

"Either way, he killed Zabuza," the hunter nin said.

"Very well," Gato nodded.

"What do you need the dobe for?" Sasuke asked Gato angrily as he stepped next to Naruto protectively.
