Not So Alone

The next day rolled around as team seven finally walked into the gates of Konoha. After eating dinner yesterday, each member of team seven went into their tent and got a good sleep in before making their way back to Konoha the next morning. It was a long journey, but worth it in the end.

"Yes! Were home!" Naruto exclaimed and laid down on the ground, missing the hard soil of Konoha.

"Get up dobe," Sasuke replied and rolled his eyes. Naruto pouted and got up from the ground. Suddenly, team seven noticed the rest of the rookie 9 walk up to them.

"Hey guys!" Naruto exclaimed and waved.

"Hey Naruto!" Kiba replied and smiled.

"How was your trip?" Shikamaru asked. Sasuke and Sakura turned to Naruto as he sweat dropped.

"It was... good," Naruto replied and laughed a bit.

"What happened?" Ino asked. Team seven shot glances at each other.

"Oh would you look at the time! Sasuke and I have to go... see you guys around!" Naruto exclaimed and grabbed Sasuke's hand as he dragged him away quickly to avoid the other's questions.

"I have to go aswell. Bye," Kakashi replied and left in the other direction. Sakura rolled her eyes as she expected Kakashi to either go read his pervy book or go sleep with Iruka.

"So... what h-happened?" Hinata asked, worried about Naruto.

"So... the long of the short of it is, Naruto killed a bunch of people and saved an entire town," Sakura explained and shrugged. The others took a minute to process this new crazy information before Kiba shouted,

"NO WAY! SICK!" Kiba exclaimed and fist pumped. The rest were also quite stunned. Naruto? The dead last? It was shocking to them that Naruto was able to achieve what he did on his last mission.

"Oh yeah, Naruto is dating Sasuke by the way," Sakura added. This little piece of information was a lot more interesting for the rookie 9.

"No way! Really?" Choji asked as he ate his chips, munching happily on every single one.

"I already new that part," Shikamaru bragged about his smartness.

"Lucky... Sasuke," Hinata mumbled. Ino sighed.

"Man I got over Sasuke a while ago, but I think they look so cute together!" Ino exclaimed and squealed as the rest nodded in agreement.

"Anyways, I have to go back home before my mom yells at me," Chijo said and a couple of other people nodded. One by one, they started to walk away, and sooner then later, it was only Ino and Sakura.

"I thought you would be freaking out over Sasuke and Naruto," Sakura started and laughed.

"I thought I would too," Ino joined in.

"I got over him. I just don't see him like that... or anything other guys I guess," Sakura admitted.

"You... don't?" Ino asked. Sakura looked away and nodded.

"I thought I was the only one!" Ino exclaimed. Sakura looked back at her and smiled. 'So she liked girls too, huh? Well that definitely boosts my shot with her!' Sakura thought.

"I know it's been awhile since we have hung out, but do you want to go get something to eat?" Sakura asked blushing. Ino blushed as well and replied, "definitely." Sakura smiled and grabbing Ino's hand as she ran into the busy streets of Konoha with her.

With Sasuke and Naruto

The blonde and raven walked through the market of Konoha, as Naruto restocked on groceries.

"Ok! I think that's all," Naruto said and smiled.

"Hn," Sasuke replied and nodded with bags of food in his hands.

"Do you mind helping me drop these off at my house?" Naruto asked. Sasuke nodded and the two walked to Naruto's tiny apartment. It was a tiny little apartment, but Naruto made it work.

Once Naruto put all of his food away, he asked, "You know, it's getting close to dinner time... and you still owe me that ramen..."

Sasuke grinned and replied, "want to go get some?" Naruto smiled brightly and nodded in agreement. Sasuke reached out his hand for Naruto to grab as they left his messy apartment. As they walked down the street to the ramen shop, the got a couple of looks, but brushed it off. The two walked though the door and sat at two chairs next to each other.

"Good to see you again, Naruto!" Ayame exclaimed as she walked out from the kitchen.

"Hey Ayame! Can I order two ramen please?" Naruto asked and smiled. Ayame nodded and went back into the kitchen to get out Naruto's food. The two talked about the most random topics, just enjoying their time together.

"Ok, here's your food Naruto," Ayame said as she handed out the food. Naruto thanked her and began eating. Sasuke placed his elbow on the table and rested his head on the palm of his hand. Sasuke waited for his food to cool as he watched his lover finish his 3rd bowl.

"This is amazing! Thanks for taking me out, teme!" Naruto exclaimed as he finished off another bowl. Sasuke nodded and blushed deeply. 'Am I really dating this idiot?' Sasuke asked himself. Naruto held his stomach, indicating he is full. Sasuke paid, and the two walked out of the shop.

"Hey dobe, wanna go for a walk?" Sasuke asked as he held Naruto's hand.

"Ohh! Yes! Let's go!" Naruto exclaimed and dragged Sasuke to team seven's usual meeting spot at the bridge. The moon shined over the water, causing a bright reflection off the water.

"This place is beautiful at night," Sasuke commented as the two looked out to the water. Naruto nodded in agreement.

"With everything that has happened so far, I'm glad that I have spent these last few day with you," Sasuke admitted. Naruto blushed and turned to face him.

"Me too," Naruto replied and smiled. Naruto wrapped his arms around Sasuke's neck and kissed him. Sasuke kissed back as the two shared the moment together. Naruto smiled to himself as he thought back to everything that has happened in the past couple of days. Naruto thought,

'I guess it true, huh? I guess I really am

not so alone,'
