As I draw near the parlor doors, I hear two male voices. Oh boy. I open the doors to Cole and Asher sitting. They quieted when I entered the room. Cole knows my identity. Asher is only searching for a girl who will never appear again. Lexi revealed that Asher did catch on. In a way he knows my real name but that's it.
"Gentlemen, welcome to my villa. Lovely villa right?" I said, I walked over to a chair. In front of it is a long table, a couch on each side. There is another at the other end of the table, across from mine. Each boy sat on either side closest to me.
"Yes, very nice indeed." Asher said. I know he's already been here.
"So, I called you both here because I need your help." I said.
"With what?" Cole asked. He knows but is pretending.
"We know my father did some unsavory things, well I need to bring them to light. I want to destroy everything he holds dear." I said, crumpling a piece of paper. There was anger in my voice. "Just like he did to my mother" but I whispered this part.
"Okay, how would we go about this? It's not like he will straight up tell us." Asher said
"Oh I know full well he won't, that's where I come in. As head of his company, I have access to everything." I said. I hate lying about who I am but I must. If any of them spill about me, it's game over.
"But if you want us to get along, we need to share secrets with each other." Asher said. He dragged the 'e' in need. He just wants me to spoil mine but he does have a point.
"You have to point. Lexi, would you like to share?" I asked. She nods then stands up.
"I am not a personal assistant. I am in fact an FBI agent. We got word that Leo Wood was helping the city's biggest Crime boss, Viola 'The Sinner' Di Salvo, she is the leader of The Devil. Your mother before she met your father, was one of our best agents. Leo Wood is in communication with her. We have been after her for years but she keeps slipping through the cracks. Leo is the key to getting her." she said. My mother was an agent, I didn't know that. It explains why she was always lurking around, making sure that I was okay.
"Now, who else has a secret they need to share?" Asher repeated it again.
"That's enough sharing. Time for a break." I stand up and walk out of the office. Lexi follows.
"Hey," she pulls me into the kitchen.
"What?" I ask, getting out of her grasp.
"Aren't you going to share your identity with them?"
"No.... yes.... Maybe.... I don't know." I said.
"They both know. It would make it easier to explain the whole thing to them. That way the real Ryan can show his face here at least." she said. She had a point and it's not like I'm revealing myself to the whole world. At least in this house, I'm safe to be myself. She looks at me.
"Okay, I will do it. But I refuse to wear those awful dresses my mother makes me wear." I said
"Deal. I will go get the boys back to the room. I will wait for your return." She eagerly leaves the kitchen. I sigh and head up to my room. I walk down the hallway and open the door. I walk to the closest and pull out a sleek red dress. I took off the suit and the wraps. I slide into the dress but the top part of the bruising is showing. I sigh and take off the dress. I pulled out a pink button up shirt, then paired it with a skirt. I grabbed the matching jacket and threw it on my shoulders. I grab my shoes. I grab the wig and walk to the bathroom. I clip it in and pile it on my head while trying to make it a nice bun. Ah, forget it. I just let it all hang down. I just walk back down to the room. I reach for the handle. I take a deep breath and open the door. I feel their gazes on me, and their faces with shock. Well. one shocked face, Asher's. Cole already knew that I was playing as my brother.
