I feel my body wake up. I groan and look that time. It is six in the morning. It is my birthday. I sit up in bed. I rub my head. The day I have been dreading. I sigh and slide out of bed. I must appear as Ryan for the first half of the party then I am free. I walk over to the two sets of costumes. I look at the red wig that comes with my costume. I switch it out with my other one. It should be fine. I grab the wig, the dress, and the shoes. I neatly fold the dress in a bag. I place the shoes and the wig in the bag too. I look over the mask. The mask is black with some lace on it. When I picked up it, the lace fell over. Oh no! I ruined it. I grab the lace. When I went to put the lace back on, I noticed it was detachable. It goes as female and a male mask. That is cool. It is eight am. I go to the bathroom. I get in the shower.
"Good morning," Lexi
"Good morning." I shouted from the shower.
"I see you already packed the other outfit." She mentioned the bag on my bed.
"Yes, I woke up early this morning." I said turning off the water.
"Hey, aren't you going to pack the red wig?" she asked walking over to it.
"No!" I quickly grab my towel and dash in front of her.
"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked
"Uh, nothing. Guess I forgot to pack it, but do not worry. I can do it. Why do not you go make sure breakfast is ready?" I said. I grabbed the wig from her. I push her out the door.
"Okay." She said as I shut the door. I sigh and lean against it. I grab the suit and walk to my closet. I place the suit on the bench that is in my closet. I use the towel to dry my hair. One good thing out of having short hair, is that it dries faster. I put on the wraps. I tighten the wraps. I hate these things. I throw on my extra layers before putting the button shirt, jacket, and pants on. I walk out of my room and down the stairs. I head to the dining room.
"Hello, have some breakfast." Lexi said after I entered.
"Oh, thanks but I'm not hungry." I said. I sit down anyways. A maid brings me out pancakes.
'I'm too old for pancakes." I said but they smell so good. Maybe one bite should not hurt. If I ate all three pancakes, I would have to work out all afternoon before the party. So, I only eat one pancake.
"Is that all you're going to eat?" Lexi questioned
"I have to watch my lady figure." I winked.
"Lady figure? Screw that, you are dressing as a man." Lexi said.
"I do not care. I am first and foremost a woman." I said. I grab the bag and start heading to the car.
"Are you coming?" I shout from behind.
"Coming." She shouts, I hear the chair scrape against the floor, then I heard her feet scurry behind me. I grab the keys and unlock the trunk. I toss the bag in there; I open the bag and pull out the mask. I take off the lace and shut it. I head to open the driver side when Lexi shakes her head. I groan and move to the other side of the car. I get in the backseat on the passenger side. I hate this. I pull out my phone. I have a miss call from Leo. I slide the mask in a pocket inside my jacket. It is an hour drive to Leo's place from mine. By the time we make it there it will be late afternoon. Lexi said she had a birthday gift ready for me but I cannot open it until we get back to the villa. She throws it in trunk. That stop delayed us for three hours. When we reach Leo's place, it's five pm. The guests will be arriving any time. Lexi grabs my bag and hauls it to a guest room that only the servants, father, and I know. That is where I will be changing later. I hear Leo shouting through the front door.
