The Concert of My Dreams

Today was the day! The day where Pandora's Butler would be coming to Black Hearts Academy! I had waited endlessly for these few moments. Everyday till now was just day-dreaming in class and getting on people's nerves for talking about it so much!

Drecta and I were just now arriving to the concert site. We wanted to get there early to get good seats. It would seem a few other students had the same idea because the first row of seats was already pretty much taken. We managed to find a lucky pair of chairs right next to the stage that no one had gotten to yet. So everything worked out real nicely.

People from all divisions started coming all at once. I was shocked at how many people came. It really seemed like the whole school was here in just a manner of seconds! 

Someone tapped on my shoulder, at first I thought it was just an accident but then they did it again. I turned to yell at them but it was Ciel! I hadn't seen him in a while...

"Ciel! What're you doing here?! I thought you wouldn't come to this."

"Why wouldn't I?" he frowned. "I am the top student of the Phantomhives so I have to go." That's what he said but I am pretty sure he just didn't want to admit to me that he liked Pandora's Butler. He seems like that kind of guy who would hide the fact he actually enjoys something...

"Cheshire Cat is coming though...do you really want to sit this close to the stage?"

"Are you an idiot? Cheshire Cat is not a real cat. You are almost as bad as that teacher! It's all a costume." I could feel his mental face-palming.

It's not my fault for thinking he was a real cat! I read a lot of articles debating that subject. I ended up joining the side that thought he might be a human cat. I mean when you consider the fact he sleeps on a giant cat bed, ends his sentences with "nya" and has cat ears plus a tail. It is really believable!

"Either way it's good to see you!" I smiled and turned back around to face the stage again but someone was tapping my shoulder. Yet again.

"What now?!" It was Alois this time! Why was he sitting next to Ciel? I thought they hated each other...more importantly why was he trying to talk to me?! I thought he hated me! I wasn't about to start talking to him so I turned around and ignored him. 

Of course that only led him to tap my shoulder more. I doubt he would spend the entire concert doing that. 

I could only hope right?

The lights dimmed and a huge spot light was on the stage. 

I blinked and then Cheshire just appeared there. Was it a magic trick? or was he there the whole time?

"Hello people of Black Hearts Academy ~nya!" His ears twitched as he started talking in that adorable way of his. 

"Cheshire is here to thank you all for inviting us to preform ~nya. Even though Cheshire isn't preforming, Cheshire hopes you enjoy the show ~nya." 

My heart was beating so fast, the anticipation of seeing Pandora's Butler live this close was finally starting to get to me.

Cheshire bowed and the curtains started to open to Pandora's Butler's theme song Parallel Hearts! ((A/N see the video if you're interested...)) All of the concerts given by Pandora's Butler, no matter what they were, they all started with Parallel Hearts and ended with Maze. I don't really know why they did that but it was cool anyway. 

They were all on the stage already, Dressed in their normal outfits. Alice was standing by the microphone with Gil on her right and Oz on her left with Break in the back. Sharon wasn't there, which kind of depressed me. Was she not coming after all?

I could hear everyone cheering behind me. Even Drecta had given in and started applauding. Which is weird since they haven't even started preforming yet. 

"Yo! We're Pandora's Butler!!! Who is ready to make some noise?" Alice asked the audience. Everyone yelled at her in response.

"Ya'll don't seem that enthusiastic...Want to try that again?"

The crowd yelled even louder. I joined in this time. Maybe it would have been a good idea to bring ear-plugs.

"That's more like it!"

With that they started to preform their most famous song Intentions of the Abyss. Everyone was in a mix of singing, clapping, and yelling. I think I even managed to hear Ciel humming the tune. 

The thing about Pandora's Butler is that everyone in the band gets to sing a song as the lead singer, (unless of course you are Xerxes on the drums he never sings). Alice sings most of them though but my favorite ones are the ones that Gilbert sings. Those are the only songs I listen to so many times that I actually know the words to. 

They went through most of my favorites like, Pocket Watch, Lacie's Wish, M'lady Sinclair, Mad Hatters, Another Crazy Dimension, and Chains Never Do Anything Right. Most of those were Oz and Alice songs. Why were they leaving out my poor Gilbert? 

As I was lost in my thoughts about Gilbert, Alice started talking.

"We're going to do something a little special for you all. I'm not sure if you noticed that Sharon isn't here on stage but there is a reason for that," the crowd immediately silenced after hearing Alice's voice, "She has actually been in the shadows stalking each one of you during this performance. Right now she'll pick one of you and you'll come up on stage and sing with us!...that is if you know the words..."

Just like Alice had said Sharon walked around the rows of chairs and stopped by the front row. The very one where I was sitting! I'm not sure if it was my uniform or what but if she picked my I am sure I must have died and gone to heaven.

"And the winner is...Miss Lisa Heartworthy!" Alice announced. Sharon walked down the row of seats and grabbed my hand, since the stage was right in front of us she just climbed up and took me with her. Everyone cheered, but I'm sure some were jealous, (however the thought never crossed my mind as to why Alice knew my name...the excitement of the whole thing didn't give me time to stop and think)

Sharon brought me over to Gilbert...someone please pinch me I must be dreaming. The songs I get to sing with them on stage are all Gil's songs! How is it that they are Gil's songs?! Did someone plan this out? Or is this really a coincidence? Either way...THANK YOU MADAME RED!!

I was able to stay with them for the entire remainder of the concert until their final song dedicated to Black Hearts Academy. Sharon escorted me back to my seat. Drecta stared at me wide-eyed. I could tell she would probably ask me a few questions when we got back to our room.

"Our final song that we made just for you guys is called The Earl and the Demon." Sharon said. 

It was a really good song. I'm not really sure why they would make a song for us about a young earl giving his soul to a demon but...it was a really fun song. What was really shocking was that Alice and Sharon didn't even sing it! They just took the seat at the drums and for the first time in Pandora's Butler history Xerxes Break sang! 

What a night to remember.

I got to sing with Gilbert.

I got to hear Xerxes sing LIVE for the first and probably last time ever.
