//Drecta's POV\\

I was walking through the yards of the school when I noticed a man wearing a lot of red. He was chasing after one or two of the other teachers. I found it amusing since one of them wasn't even in the Dispatch Society division.

While I was watching this intriguing game of 'cat and mouse' other students buzzed around me talking about an assembly to introduce a new student. Such things don't interest me so I just went straight to my dorm. Little did I know I'd be having a roommate...Lisa Heartworthy at that, (she talks too much for my liking).

"Oh, it's you? I am surprised they don't divide the dorms too....." I spoke without really meaning to, I have a habit of starting useless conversations. I really should get that checked out.

"Drecta?.....Drecta Fredricka?! Is that really you?" She got off her bed and pulled me into a hug. I hate people like her. Why did I ever think it was a good idea to try and make friends with her? It's too late for me to cut her off at this point though. I'll just have to deal with this. We are roommates now after all.

She went on and on about how weird this place was. Lisa didn't see me at the assembly because I didn't go so she tried filling me in on her position. I could only do my best to keep from laughing. What was Madame Red thinking? Having Lisa as the "Prey"? This school is just too weird.

~The next day~

I woke up before Lisa, and started debating whether or not I'd skip today at school. In the end, I decided to give this place a shot and go. I could always skip tomorrow...or the day after...or just for the rest of the year...if I didn't like it that is.

Walking around this place is probably one of the biggest problems I have with it. It'd be great if they invented flying shoes or something. As I was traveling to my first class that weird teacher wearing all red bumped into me while chasing some other teacher dressed as a butler, (or pretty close anyway). I ended up falling on him, what a wonderful way to start this day. -_-

I quickly got up and bowed to apologize.

"Watch were you're going! Now look what you've done! I lost Bassy!" Making a weird pouting face the teacher got up off the ground.

"Sorry. I'll pay more attention in the future." Why are you blaming me? You ran into me because you weren't watching where you were going. Why do I have to listen to this scolding?

"I'll forgive you this time. Since you're cute after all. I'm so glad Will has finally listened to me about bringing in cute boys!"

I was about to correct him but he ran off before I could get a word in. I guess there is nothing I can do about that. I am wearing a boy uniform and most of my hair is covering my face. It would be hard for anybody to tell that I'm a girl without me mentioning it. In fact, if Lisa wasn't my roommate I'm sure whatever poor soul I would've gotten would definitely have freaked out seeing a boy in their room, (even if I am a girl).

I sighed and started walking to my class once more. I was almost there I could feel it. I stepped into the room and let out a long sigh. Not because I was happy that I was finally here in one piece, but because that red-wearing-weirdo was going to be my main teacher. Well at least I can safely say that my year here will be interesting.

I sat down and he started going on and on about how cute all the staff was. Upperclassmen sitting all around me were groaning. I bet this guy has a terrible reputation with students. He doesn't seem like the type that'd be good teaching. So why is he at Black Hearts Academy anyway? Probably because of the good-looking staff he is going on and on about. At least I won't have much work to do if he keeps wasting time like this.

"My name is Grell Sutcliff. Please just call me Grell."

Grell? Yeah, no one is going to call you that. It's against the rules to address teachers by their first name. Some might call you Ms Sutcliff though, or just Sutcliff. Me on the other hand. I am going to call you "Sir".

I raised my hand and spoke, "Sir Sutcliff, Have you even read any of the school rules? You aren't supposed to be wearing any color if you're in this division and students aren't aloud to address teachers by their first name." I could just sense all the upperclassmen around me cheering me on even though they knew it would be useless to try and knock any sense into him.

"Aren't you the one I ran into earlier? You don't seem like the type to read a book of useless rules...Don't call me 'Sir' that makes me feel so old!"

"Please do not try and change the subject. I would like to know very much why a teacher is breaking rules." You could see the sweat drop, I'm sure people have asked him before and just let him evade the question, but now I am genuinely curious. I don't think I'll be getting an answer out of him thought, and that is truly depressing.

"What do you say we get class started?"

The whole classroom cheered as for the first time in their lives Mr. Sutcliff was actually doing his job, (even if it was terrible teaching).

I never did correct him about me being a girl. Well, whatever...
