I acidently left my things in Mr. Michaelis's room when I left. So I was on my way to pick them up. He was a nice teacher...for the most part.
There was something strange about him but, I can't quite place my finger on it.
He is perfect.
Almost too perfect.
Well, it's not like he isn't human right?
Those kind of things don't exist.....right?
I don't know but I don't like it....the feeling in the air...is very unpleasant.
"Mr. Michaelis?..." I said quietly while peeking my head into his door.
When I did, I saw him pinning Ciel down to a desk his eyes glowing with a pink tinge. Their faces were so close, it was like they were going to kiss, or maybe....they did kiss.....
"IM SORRY TO INTERRUPT!" I said running away as fast as my feet could carry me. Not bothering to try and pick up my things or close the door behind me.
I heard soft footsteps behind me as an arm came out of no where and grabbed me. When I started to open my mouth to scream it was covered by a strong hand.
This smell?.....Mr. Michaelis?....but....he was.....over there....did he come after me?
In the dark hallway of the school building I could see his glowing red eyes.
"I apologize for the misunderstanding, Miss Heartworthy."
"Ah-Ah well....no it's...." A blush comes to my face as I remembered what I saw.
"It's my fault! I came in without permission! I'm sorry!" I heard a soft chuckle escape his mouth. Was he laughing at me? That's rude.
"It's fine, I'm not quite sure what your thinking happened but I can assure you, I do not involve myself with my students in that way," he finished with his usual gentlemanly smile.
Doesn't get involved with students? My heart dropped.
Huh? What?
Why am I sad? It's not like...
No
No
No
No
NO WAY!!!!
I LIKE MR. MICHAELIS?!!!!
As if my day couldn't get any worse.
Just then as I was thinking I noticed dark shadows covering me. What? What's happening?! I don't understand! Get me out of this! What is going on?!!!
"Miss Heartworthy." I heard a stern voice.
I opened my eyes to see Mr. Michaelis standing in front of my desk frowning.
"Miss Heartworthy, if you find my classes boring enough to sleep through. Don't come to them."
Ah, so it was a dream? Then he didn't almost kiss Ciel? I'm slightly disappointed...(really, shouldn't I be more concerned about the weird shadowy thing?).
Oh! What am I thinking?!
"I-I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to..." I couldn't find the words to answer.
"I'll let you off this time, but please be more careful in the future."
I heard soft giggles coming from the rest of the class as the lesson continued. It would seem my reputation was getting worse by the minute.
-bell rings-
Oh thank heavens. I am saved...
"Miss Heartworthy." I heard my teacher speak.
No!! I was just about to be saved!
"Yes?" I said gathering my things.
"You've been quite distracted lately. Is there something I can do to help you?"
Oh? Help me? What like private tutoring lessons?
I wouldn't mind that actually...I can get fairly good grades but extra help is always appreciated.
"Miss Heartworthy?" I could feel his gaze on me, like he could see into the depths of my soul.
"No! No Sir. I'm quite fine on my own."
Oh Crap! Why'd I say that? That isn't what I wanted at all.
I started to leave in embarrassment when I felt him grab my arm.
"Mr. Michaelis?" I said looking up at him. I saw a small glint of something in his eyes. Something that didn't look right...but it was brief so I ignored it.
"I think you should come for tutoring a couple of days. I won't force you, but I advise you do." His face was the same emotionless tone.
"Of course. I would be very grateful for that." I smiled whole-heartedly and left to go tell Drecta about the day I had.
Leaving out the weird dream though....
~~Time Skip to Tutoring Session~~
Mr. Michaelis and I were sitting in the library. There were people from all divisions here, but he and I were sitting in a secluded room specially for tutoring.
Now it's not like I need tutoring.......but.....it's nice to learn away from all the other people. Since, well, they never talked to me anyway.
Aren't they supposed to be trying to win me over?
Well they are doing a terrible job. If it wasn't for Mr. Michaelis...I wouldn't be coming to this division at all. I'd just skip it.
"Miss Heartworthy." the voice startled me, it wasn't his usual no emotion voice. It almost seemed as if he was a little flustered. No way that could happen though.
"Miss Heartworthy." This made me jump. I noticed I hadn't answered him the first time. Boy, I must seem like an idiot.
"Y-yes?" I asked hesitantly.
"Is there something on my face? You have been staring at it for quite some time now...Have you even been paying attention to a thing I have said?" he asked annoyed.
"N-no! I'm sorry! You're just really really shockingly good looking an-" I clasped my hand over my mouth and look down to try and keep me from saying anything more stupid.
I am so embarrassed!! I'm blushing like a cherry!
I could hear a small chuckle coming from my teacher. It seemed he was a little amused at my embarrassment! How rude! Now I am blushing more!
"I'm honored you think so highly of me, but if we are going to continue you'll have to lift your head."
I raised my head slightly not making direct eye contact and nodded.
He let out a sigh and said, "Now that's not going to do..." Mr. Michaelis leaned over the table and grabbed my chin lifting my face so that I was looking directly into his beautiful eyes.
This is too close for me........
My heart was beating fast and.........
