When Isabella revealed to Omar that she was in a relationship, he made up his mind that she was definitely more trouble than she was worth.
Although he was eager for Avery to experience the touch of another woman, Isabella wasn't the the one for the job.
The last thing either of them needed was for her to wake up the next morning and regret what happened the night before.
Once Omar made sure there was a car to take Isabella back to wherever she was staying, he took Avery up to his bedroom and used his mouth to make her come apart before they fell asleep tangled in the sheets together.
The next morning, Avery was up before Omar, leaving him alone in the bed as she went to sit out the balcony in his room and bask in the morning sun.
"I want to take you shopping later," Omar smirked, his hand resting leisurely in his underpants his eyes traced over Avery's naked body as she pulled her hair into a loose bun, her caramel skin glowing as the early morning Turks and Caicos sun filtered through the curtains.
"Why?" Avery asked, her smirk matching his as she walked back over to the bed, climbing on top of him, straddling his waist. She leaned in close, her lips brushing against his earlobe as she whispered, "I don't want you to feel like you have to spend on me, that isn't what this is,"
Omar chuckled, his hands sliding up her thighs, his touch sending shivers down her spine. "Trust me, Avery," he murmured, his voice husky with lust, "I don't feel obligated to spend on you. I want to take you shopping because it's something that I want to do with you."
The lines of being a one night stand had long since blurred after their second night together, and was completely diminished when he asked her to stay with him for the remainder of her trip.
Avery could feel the genuine affection in Omar's words, and it warmed her heart. She had never expected their casual fling to turn into something more, but here they were, tangled in each other's arms, their connection growing stronger with each passing day.
As she gazed into his deep brown eyes, she saw a vulnerability that matched her own. They had both been hurt in the past, but somehow, they had found solace in each other's company. The thought of spending the rest of her trip with him excited her, and she couldn't help but smile.
"I would love to go shopping with you, Omar," she replied, her voice filled with sincerity. "But only if you let me treat you too. This isn't just about me; it's about us."
Omar's hands continued to caress her thighs, his touch igniting a fire within her. He nodded, his lips curling into a mischievous grin. "Deal," he whispered, his voice dripping with desire. "We'll spoil each other."
Their connection went beyond physical attraction now. It was an emotional bond that neither of them had anticipated. They had found comfort in each other, and their shared experiences had brought them closer together.
