Today was already starting so well. I finally knew what it was like to kiss Ronan. He was sweet, yet he had this musk on him I couldn't stop thinking about. The day only improved when Gabe came over to steal coffee before class. I told him all about it. "Damn, you must be a real good kisser if that was reaction one to one little peck."

I chuckled as we heard Katie's door open and a few whispers, and then watched Henry try to sneak some of the steps. "Good morning, Henry."

He stopped his step before sighing pretty aggressively. "Good morning, Ali."

"I'm here too, princess," Gabe called out before he took another sip.

"Motherfucker." He muttered before stomping the rest of the way down the stairs. He put his hands on his hips while scowling at us. "Why the fuck are you two down here so early?"

"Are you mad I'm in my kitchen?" I smirked.

"She's got good coffee and said I could use it whenever." Gabe took another sip, slurping it and making an awful noise to piss him off more. Katie stomped down, too, with a big smile, until she saw us sitting there.

"Dammit."

"Love you too." I chuckled as I went up the stairs to finish getting ready.

Today was going to be one of my favorite classes. I knew it. Ethics was taught by none other than Mr. Jeremy Chase. He was Ronan's uncle, the fun one who is the Alpha's youngest brother and can relate to us more. He was hilarious and had a very go-with-the-flow attitude. His long blonde hair reached the top of his shoulders and curled the longer it got. He was a beach going hippie version of the Alpha, and it made me laugh at how similar they looked back and acted so differently.

When I walked into his classroom, he spotted me immediately. He pushed right past Ronan, nearly knocking over his own nephew to hug me. "I know this isn't appropriate teacher-student behavior, but I don't care. I've missed you!"

"I won't tell, and I missed you too. Look at your hair!"

He swishes it around for me, which makes me laugh. Mr. Chase was a tall man. He was also skinny as a vegetarian who didn't substitute nutrients well. He was really cool, but not a very good wolf. "Uncle, people can see you."

Ronan snarled, not wanting to give away the fact I was his mate. "Shut up. She's my favorite student."

"It's the first day! And I'm your nephew!"

"What's your point?" He let go, and we found our seats.

Gabe sat on one side of me, Ronan on the other. At first, it was awkward, feeling like one wanted to talk to me and act like the other wasn't there. The tension was a lot. Gabe kept looking over my shoulder or moving my hand, practically holding it to peek at my notes. Ronan would see this and get angry. He pushed his leg to touch mine, then moved closer so our shoulders touched. I was sandwiched between them while trying to focus. When we were dismissed, I jumped up, ready to leave the tension behind. Gabe and Ronan followed me out, but Mr Chase called me over.

Mr Chase had a weird look on his face when I got close enough to see. "Where are you heading to after this?"

"I took a part-time job at the library after Tuesday and Thursday classes."

"Really?" Ronan seemed impressed, while his uncle seemed to dance around.

"Oh, goodie, please hand this to my mother?" I gave him a weird look as he wrote on paper and handed it to me. "My mother, the head librarian?"

"What? I didn't know that Gran Gran was on campus." I smiled from ear to ear.

My grandparents passed when I was a young age, so I never really got that grandparent experience. But Gran Gran gave that to me. We made cookies, planted flowers, played in the pack house, and more. Ronan was an only child, and his uncle never had any children, so I was her shot at having somewhat of a granddaughter. I was so excited to see her.
