The pack house was exactly as I remembered it. It was a three-story mansion with a mixture of grey stones and dark brown bricks with a beautiful wrap-around porch, a garden in the front, and bright red tulips (Luna's signature flower) along the sides. The doorways and windows were all arched, making it look like a fairy tale house.

As we drove up, I knew where to go, who to say hello to, and where to park. Katie sat in the passenger seat, leaning forward to get the best look at the ginormous house. "Wow, you grew up here?"

"Basically. There are some places I wasn't allowed to go to. We stayed on the right side of the building, where the kitchen, bedrooms, and play areas are. The left side is offices, conference rooms, and Alpha's corner." I explained as I pulled around to the back, where Luna and Gran Gran were sitting on the back patio drinking cocktails per usual. We stepped out of the car and greeted each other. I pulled Katie to my side, linked our arms, and walked up to Luna. "This is Katie, who you mentioned before."

Luna looked her up and down and smiled from ear to ear. She hugged Katie like she was her own. "Oh, you and Henry make such wonderful mates. He talks about you a lot. That boy is smitten."

"That's why I can't get him to leave the library!" Gran Gran joked as she took me by the elbow and led me inside, leaving Luna and Katie to walk behind us. "Him, Gabe, and my own grandson. Can't get those weirdos to leave me alone!"

The floors were a dark mahogany colored wood, the walls were the pack's signet color, blood red, and all the hardware and picture frames were close to the same brown to match the gothic style the rest of the house had going on. I loved it here.

Gran Gran led me to the conference room where Ronan, Henry, and Gabe sat around a large table with several pictures, pack symbols, and lines were drawn out. Ronan looked bored, but his eyes lit up when he saw me. My wolf panted happily to see this type of reaction from him. "Ali, I was beginning to think you weren't coming."

"Ronan, I saw you three hours ago, and I'm an hour early for dinner. Just say you missed me." I joked, and it caused him to blush a little as he came over to kiss his grandmother and mother on the cheek, their way of saying hello. It was charming and old-fashioned, just the way his family preferred things. "What is all this?"

When I approached the table, the pictures became more apparent. They were going over who was Alpha, Beta, Omega, and their mates of surrounding packs that were attending tomorrow's event. A game of memory to say hello to the proper people tomorrow. "Well, shall we see if her memory is good enough to remember these old fucks?"

I spun around on my heel to see Alpha standing there. He had aged a lot since I had seen him last, but he still looked like the Alpha I remembered. He was tall, maybe an inch above Ronan. His black hair was more salt than pepper and it was slicked back. His black suit was pristine like always, and his fair skin had more freckles and wrinkles than before. His blue eyes stood out the most as he approached me with open arms. "Alpha!"

"How have you been, kiddo?" He patted my back a little hard with excitement as he hugged me. When I let go, he put his hand flat on top of my head and then brought it against his chest, comparing our heights. "I see you haven't grown up very much."

"Grown enough to handle myself now." I joked, knowing Alpha could take me down in this form or as a wolf. He may be older, but he is the pack's strongest and most giant wolf.

He chuckled and turned me back to the table. "I believe you, but prove your brain is as tough as you."

I looked down at the table, thought about all the faces I saw, and then took a deep breath. "Starting easy, our pack, the Chase pack, has Alpha Daniel, his mate Luna AnnMarie, Beta Dawson and his mate Marge, and Omega Dan and his mate Chelsea. We are the center pack, the biggest and strongest. We provide power and multiple ways of support to the surrounding packs. We share all our resources and grounds with them as well.
