Ivana panted as she attacked the trainer before her. A man who willingly volunteered to train Ivana more on hand to hand combat. Her punches hitting the padded targets in his hands. "You are quite fast but speed won't always help save your life or those you're protecting." The man spoke roughly. He was a big burly man with a scar on his throat.

Ivana yelled angrily as she tried to hit harder. "Now you're just wasting your energy. You'll become too tired too fast. And..." When her fist pulled away after punching his hand, he suddenly hit his padded hand against her face. She fell back and gasped for air. Slamming on to her ass. Coughing from the shock and accidental spit and air intake. Coughing to clear her throat of the uncomfortable itchyness.

"See? Now let's take a break." He was already taking the mits off. "No! I can keep going." Ivana quickly got up and stopped coughing. "You should not exert yourself too much or you'll cause more damage than needed. You won't be able to fight anyone if you hurt yourself." Ivana huffed. Shaking her head and scoffing. Walking away to a bench and snatching up a water container. Downing what is left. The water feeling nice as she could feel it flow through her body.

Now that she relaxed a bit and the adrenaline waned off, she could feel her body aching. Perhaps he was right. "I give it to ya. I've never trained a Tiefling before. It is an honour." Her ear twitched as she listened. Turning to him and looking confused. "An honour? Not really. Tiefling's are known as a disgrace. An evil race." The man chuckled. "Maybe back then but people change. People have deemed Tiefling's important and feel it's a real shame they died out long ago. If something remotely resembling a Tiefling is seen then it's very important and valuable but an actual Tiefling? They would be one of the most valuable creature in the entire galaxy." Ivana blinked in shock.

"Now people will want to kidnap you. I find importance in all cultures and their people so training you is my life's goal now." Ivana glanced away and her ears wilted. "Trust me. It's still not an honour." She rubbed her arms and he noticed how uncomfortable she got. Changing the topic. "It will take time to grow your muscles. If you want to help speed it up, you'll have to take a type of steroids." Ivana didn't feel comfortable taking supplements for anything. There was always a downside to practically everything.

"But you do have quite a skill in speed. If you use that skill, hopefully you won't need to use strength." He then quickly tossed a knife to her. Ivana catching it with ease. Holding it close and looking over it. It was blunt and had been damaged. The edges having cracked apart. "What?" She asked confused. Why did he give her this?

"That blade has seen more battles than I have. When I was part of the war as a volunteer, I won that against a fight with a pirate that was working for the separatists. It must be quite old though. Looks about ready to break now." He explained. It did look very old. "But that knife has saved my life many times. Even against men and droids larger than me." She quickly shot a look at him. "You used this on droids?" He nodded as he wiped sweat off him. "Oh yeah. Got myself a pretty fine body count. Half of it droids. But that's not the point. The point is, it's not only the biggest and strongest weapons that can protect you." His words stuck on her as she looked over the blade.

"So you willingly getting captured is a big no no. Protecting yourself should be a big priority to you." He scolded her. He heard from the others about how they met and what Ivana used to do. "And use that special ability for your advantages." With all they've told him, Ivana indeed ask if he could help save the others from the empire, but he refused. Saying his war days were behind him. Too old and still had old injuries that would flare up from time to time. It was sad. No one else wanted to help, so no he decided to help this way. Training Ivana.

"Now then. I believe Hunter wanted a shot at training with ya. Good luck." He turns and walks out with his bag. Probably heading home. Just as he left, Hunter walked in. He was dressed in his new blacks. His old ones covered in blood and torn. No choice but to throw them out. They were lucky that someone on Pabu was a seamstress.

Ivana watched as he approached. "Healed up?" She absolutely refused to train with anyone until they're fully healthy with no injuries. "Yes. You can do a check if you want?" He lifted his arms to show his willingness. She snorted, shaking her head. "I know when someone's lying. We can begin when you're ready." He then crossed his arms as he slightly sniffed and eyed her. Quirking an eyebrow confused, she stared right back. "Are you sure you're not tired? I can tell you're pretty exhausted. You've been training for hours already." Tossing the blade aside, she scoffed loudly. Not bothering to hide her annoyance.

"I'm fine. Now, are you ready or not?" She asked as she poked his shoulder and shoving slightly. "Get on the mat." He ordered. She rolled her eyes and walked over to it. Standing in position as she waits. Hunter walking over quickly. Standing before her and getting into position. "Go." He told her sternly.

Quickly stepping off, she dashed right at him and attempted to hit him. Hunter grabs her and twists. Not wasting time, she used her other hand to punch his abdomen. Grunting as air is quickly knocked out from him. She found a weak spot of a human body.

They kept fighting and wrestling until Hunter had twisted her arm to nearly popping out of place and Ivana had her legs wrapped around his neck, choking him. Finally Ivana screamed in pain, Hunter releasing her quickly. She used this opportunity to twist and throw Hunter with a her might off the mat. He looked at her shocked as he quickly got up. "I thought you were hurt!" He yelled as she stood up. Rolling her arm. "I would've been had you pulled any more. Besides gotta use any opportunity yeah?" She nearly laughed at his sour face before he sighed. "You are right. Next time though, please don't scream. It aches my ears." Ah right... She had forgotten his ears were sensitive.

"Sorry." Ivana mumbled. Hunter crossed his arms. Her tail flicker as anxious thoughts entered her head. Omega keeps popping up in her head. "Hunter. If we're too late..." Her voice went quiet. He understood what she means though. He gently grabbed her shoulder. "We won't be too late. She'll be fine. It's okay. We'll save her and escape. Everyone will." He nodded to her. Trying to dig some confidence in her but she has seen much death and destruction already. There will always be this small bit of doubt in her mind.

"Hunter!" Echo called as he ran into the room. Hunter pulled away and looked at his brother. "We found it. We found where they're holding Omega and other clones." Ivana's eyes widened. Perhaps now it is time. Glancing to Hunter, she saw his face held discomfort and doubt. So much for pushing confidence, he looks like he could use it more. "Hey." She nudged his arm, forcing him to glance at her. "We got this." She whispered high enough he can hear. Smiling, he nodded. "Echo. It's time for a debrief. We don't have time left. It has to be now." Echo looked unsure but left to do so anyways.

This'll be one hell of a suicide mission.
