The herd was still surrounding the group, who were all spread out from one another. The moon shone ominously down onto Clement and (Y/N), the blood on their clothing seeming to glow.

"You... You...!" Sarita stammers out, breathing frantically. She screams out in pain, walkers grabbing hold of her and sinking their teeth into her flesh.

Kenny gasps as his head snaps over at her scream, his face paling. "Sarita?! No!"

"Where're you going?!" Mike demands, racing after him as he dashes for Sarita. "Kenny!"

"Sarita!"

"Kenny!" (Y/N) shouts as she slices her matchete at a walker, striking it down and off Sarita.

Kenny uses his crowbar to pierce through two of the walkers eating her, shoving their corpses away before punching the last one off her. Sarita sways on her feet before collapsing, her eyes dimming out as Kenny falls to his knees at her side.

Blood sputters from her mouth as she coughs violently, her skin beginning to pale.

"No... You can't die... I won't let you die!" Kenny desperately shouts, cradling her head.

Mike runs over, gasping softly and wincing sympathetically. "We have to move. There's too many..." He urges, swinging his hammer at a walker.

Sarita cries out in agony as her body jerks aroud, hacking out blood from her mouth as her chest heaves.

"Come on, babe!" Kenny pleads.

"Kenny!" Mike shouts over the walker roars. "She's dead, man! She's gone!"

Kenny snarls up at him, "leave us alone! She's not dead!"

(Y/N) and Clement exhange wide-eyed glances, remaining silent as (Y/N) strikes down another walker with a grunt.

"Come on, man! There's too many!" Mike barks firmly. "We've gotta get out of here!"

Kenny shakes his head, tears streaming down his face. "It ain't gonna go like this."

Sarita's eyes begin to shimmer a milky white, her skin turning a sickly gray as she starts weakly snarling.

"Kenny!"

"I won't be left alone again!"

(Y/N) flinches at his words, thinking back to Duck and Katjaa with sadness.

"We're gonna leave! We're gonna get out of this!" Kenny hysterically reassures to himself, sobbing.

"Kenny!"

"I don't care what these fuckers are saying, you're gonna be fine!"

"Kenny, please!" (Y/N) tries, dropping down next to him. "We can't do this without you! We have to go!"

(?) Kenny will remember that

Kenny looks up at her with a cry, shaking his head weakly as he caresses Sarita's cheek. "I'm sorry... I love you."

"Kenny! Damn it, man! Come on!"

Kenny turns and strikes a walker down, his chest heaving with anger. "You had no right, Clement! No fucking right!"
