Wen Ai sprawled innocently on top of the man, his cute appearance combined with a perplexed expression making quite an impression.

The man's heart fluttered. He raised his upper body, leaning close to Wen Ai's neck, and sniffed. Regretfully, he said, "Turns out you're not an Omega."

Wen Ai belatedly realized what was happening. Pressing the man's forehead, he shoved his occipital bone back into the soil, saying, "Damn it!"

Attempting to get up, Wen Ai found the man suddenly clasping his waist, preventing any movement. Despite wriggling and struggling on top of the man for a while, he couldn't free himself from the restraint. Frustrated, he grabbed the man's collar, revealing a set of small white teeth, and threatened, "Believe it or not, I'll bite you!"

"I believe you." The man lightly smirked, extending his long arm to pluck a peony from nearby and placing it in Wen Ai's hair. "Beneath the peony flowers, even death is romantic. Even if you bite me to death today, I still want to be buried under these flowers with you."

Wen Ai had never encountered such shameless audacity. Stunned for a few seconds, he then pounced, grabbing the man's throat and giving it a sharp bite.

"Ouch! You really bit me!" The man winced in pain, retracting the hand that had been clamped around Wen Ai's waist. Seizing the opportunity, Wen Ai climbed up and deftly slipped out of the flower bushes.

The man quickly emerged as well, catching up with Wen Ai and blocking his path. "Little cutie, what's your name?"

Ignoring him, Wen Ai turned around and walked in the opposite direction.

"Don't go." The man stuck to Wen Ai like a piece of toffee, walking beside him. "Weren't you enthusiastic just now? Even if you're not an Omega, big brother will still pamper you."

Wen Ai changed several paths in succession, but the man persistently trailed him like burrs stuck to woolen pants, refusing to be shaken off.

Wen Ai stopped abruptly, crossed his arms, and glared at the man. "Bro, please, can you stop haunting me?"

The man found it amusing and pointed at himself, "Bro?"

Wen Ai's gaze slid from the man's enticing peach blossom eyes to his thin lips, drawing a conclusion, "Thin lips, charming ghost."

"Hahaha, you're such a treasure!" The man burst into laughter, "Judging people by appearance and nailing it so confidently. I'm not a charming dead man; I'm clearly wronged by you."

Wen Ai became more earnest, pointing at him, "Where did I wrong you? You pull people into your embrace at first sight, and I'm wrong for pointing that out?"

Wiping away the tears of laughter, the man looked at him with interest, "Let me think, besides my adopted dog, Big Yellow, you're the only one who has crawled into my embrace. I, who cherish cleanliness, had my purity taken away after a peaceful sleep, and, in the end, accused of being a kidnapper by you."

The man propped his chin thoughtfully, "Should I go to the government office and plead my innocence?"

With too many absurdities in his reversal, Wen Ai was momentarily unsure where to begin his retort. After holding back for a while, he finally pushed the man forcefully, "You're insane!"

"Why are you always so hands-on!" The man took a few steps back to steady himself, reaching up to pull down his collar, revealing bite marks on his neck. "Look, the place you bit hasn't healed yet."

Wen Ai glanced at the still-red bite marks, with two places still oozing blood. He took out a small porcelain bottle and tossed it over, saying, "Take this to clean it."
