Overglorified

Man, the reciever of glory,
To whom power and success is abundantly wasted on...
With the IQ of a crayon,
The ability to make matters tense,
When met with a man, remember hold on to your sense!

A nanosecond effort on their part,
A careless action, that can break a heart,
Standing by like a useless sack,
Common sense they greatly lack,
To every offspring, a namesake caregiver,
Tell me, these clowns believe they can be the ringleader?

Minuscule efforts, enormous applause,
Egos ooze, without any gauze,
A loophole in history to be the cause,
To trust a man, one of our many flaws.

Slyer than a snake,
A useless keepsake,
Creepier than an eel,
With this species, many woman have to deal.

Women, giver of life,
Man: creator of pain and strife.

A/n: This is my own experience of personal encounters. It's not directed at anyone at large and not meant to upset nor offend anyone.
It is a reflection of my past experiences I shared in the form of poetry.
I dedicate this one to all the people that have been hurt by others no matter how.
