Grace's POV

We've all been quite busy so far this week but Leo insisted that we have another meeting. Maybe Amanda and Leo were talking and figured something out. He didn't hint anything over the phone.
So we all gather at Leo's house to discuss who knows what.
Lately I've been thinking through as much as possible.
The room comes to silence as Rory stands to speak first.

"I'm sure we've all been thinking about this uncontrollable force thing. Even as it's just a hunch. I've been trying to figure out just how Angelina fits into this. I'm thinking maybe she really doesn't have any power over this. But then again, I'm also thinking that she must know something. So that's why we have follow up on this hunch and still search for Angelina. Too bad she won't leave another clue or something."

"I think Rory summed it up pretty well. Leo and I were talking over the weekend... We think that Angelina intended on going in this odd direction of chaos but I don't think she knew a hundred percent of what was going to happen, like with the dying trees." Amanda pipes in.

"By the way, has anyone checked on the trees lately?" David asks.

"Amanda and I have been taking turns checking on them every day. At least 5 more have gone zonk. Dead. Just like that. It's only a matter of time before-"

"Seriously, Leo., Amanda intervenes., Yes, the trees seem to be dying more and more."

"I've checked on the trees once this week, too. It's true." Tara adds as if no one can believe it.

"Have we been trying the usual, you know, normal ways of keeping trees alive?" David suggests.

"Aww, Tara, he's still clueless." Rory pokes her.

"Hey, I was just asking. You never know. It seems that we need to figure this out. I guess you know more than I do, Rory." David pokes Rory.

I clear my throat.
I cough a bit louder until everyone's paying attention. Connor looks concerned as if I'm actually choking.
It seems as if he's still not used to me being the lead. I smirk. That's one advantage to this situation.

"Amanda's suggestion could be likely and I get what Rory's getting at, too. I got the chance to check out the hospital during the week. You'll never guess what the lady at the front desk told me."
