Amanda's POV

"Hey, it's Tara." Tara says.
"Amanda and I are at Apple Grove. If you can drop by, you might want to. Something abnormal here." Leo announces.
"Nothing new, then. We'll be right there." Tara sighs.
Tara is right. I'm not sure whether they got a drive or rode their bikes but they're fast.
Rory runs up from behind, calling out.
"I'm here! Tara called me! It's a miracle, I haven't lost my phone in three weeks!"
"No way! Show me." I say.
Rory pulls her cell phone out of her pocket. It's case is half cracked and it's wrapped in bubble wrap.
"Wow!" I've never seen Rory's phone in such good condition.
"My parents say that once I've had it, responsibly, for a whole month, Jake and I can date officially!" Rory squeals.
"Okay, that's sweet and all but what's the real deal here?" Grace steps in.
"See this tree? It isn't supposed to die." Leo points out.
"But aren't all living things supposed to die sometime?" Connor asks.
Connor was still new to the whole magic thing especially since it's his sister, Grace, who's the magic person in town.
"It's been two years since we've planted these trees and they were perfectly healthy, the last we checked." I say.
"Grace? Do you have any idea for an explanation for this?" Rory asks the redhead.
"I really don't know. My powers don't come in for another year. All I know are a few secrets about this town. Angelina knows all about the odd things of this small town." Grace shrugs.
"Come on, then. Let's find Angelina!" Leo beckons.
We walk into town and finally walk up to Angelina's Sweet Repeats and Collectibles. The shop's closed but there's no sign indicating where Angelina may be, like the last time she left.
"You don't suppose she's gone fishing again, do you?" David laughs.
"Angelina would never tell us if she's leaving, whether she's magical or not." Tara smiles at David.
David was also quite new at wrapping his mind around the magical concept.
Grace steps up to the door and pulls a necklace out from under her sweater. A key is hanging from the chain and it's inserted in the lock. She pushes the door open and silently invites everyone in.
There's something on the counter and it's glowing a radiant light.
