"Ma'am Scarlet? Before 10:00 AM your investors will arrive soon. Everything is ready and planned very well as you wanted and expected." My secretary said. I was just sitting on my swivel chair and being nervous about something.
"Ma'am Scarlet? Are you okay? Should I reschedule the meeting today with your investors?" She asked but I answered her immediately.
"No, I'm fine don't reschedule it. They are the most important investors of the company so we won't make them wait for us. Don't worry I'm fine I'm just thinking about something." I explained.
"Uhm, you're thinking about something or you're being bothered about something? I know what's going on po with you and your one and only love of your life." Napatingin ako sa kaniya na may halong gulat. Really?
"Wait, What? How?"
"Wala lang po naririnig ko lang po sa mga ka-call mo okaya minsan sa mga kausap niyo po in person. Pero I don't know so much things po ah, pasensiya narin po nakikinig ako sa mga usapan ninyo. Hindi ko lang po talaga yon sinasadyang mapakinggan." Agad namang napuno ng takot ang mukha niya, iniisip niya siguro na magagalit ako. Siguro nasanay na talaga silang lahat sakin na palaging mainit ang ulo at mabilis magalit.
Damn, I changed a lot since Alexia was missing.
"Oh okay, it's fine don't worry I won't be mad. If ever I got Alexia back, I would be so proud to introduce her as my future wife." I said and gave her a smile.
Biglang nagbago ang itsura ng mukha niya. Her smile disappeared.
"What's wrong?"
"Ah eh, w-wala po. A-Aalis na po ako, p-pasensya na po sa istorbo." Umalis siya at sinarado ang pintuan, tsaka naman nabalot ng katahimikan ang buong office ko.
May mali ba akong nasabi? Is she jealous? Wait no way. If she likes me, I should fire her. She should'nt have feelings for me either.
CELESTE's POV (Alexia's Pov)
"Babe? Wear this, it will suit you." Inabot niya sakin ang isang dress na kulay blue. Napakaganda nito dahil sa mga kumikinang na maliliit na beads.
"Siguro ka bang babagay sakin 'to?" I nervously asked.
"Yes of course my baby." She said.
"Saan nga ulit kasi tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko sa kaniya while she's also preparing herself.
"Meeting sa isang huge company. Let's see if they can make me invest with their company." Sabi niya habang ako naman ang tinutulungan niyang isuot ang damit ko.
"Wear this jacket of mine, baka lamigin ka eh. Your body is still adjusting with the temperature here in France."
"Okay, babe." Nginitian ko siya tsaka niya ako binigyan ng halik sa noo.
After akong ma-kidnap sa Pilipinas, Colline decided to move here in France to keep me safe. Sakto ring may ka-meeting siyang company. I hope we're safe here at wala nang manggugulo, sobrang daming nangyari.
But something comes into my mind. That bodyguard of Scarlet, why does he know me? Bakit parang may past kami ng Scarlet na iyon? Sino ba siya?
Damn, bakit ko ba iniisip yon? Isa pa why do I care? Baka nagkamali lang sila.
"Ang lalim ng iniisip mo babe, is there something wrong?" Bigla niyang binasag ang malalim kong pagiisip at nagtanong.
"Oh nothing babe, masaya lang ako kasi kasama kita ngayon dito." She smiled at me and hugged me tightly.
