Marianna had never been to a wedding, though she had always wanted to when she was younger, watch as the beautiful bride waltzed down the aisle in all her glory picturing herself in a white dress. But now as she had grown older, she didn't really care for the whole, declaring your love for another person in front of everyone you knew, that is if you were lucky enough to marry for love. But more likely, marriage was that of a business deal, one she didn't intend to participate in.

Tonight there was a wedding for some peaky blinder, and Tommy had ordered they all came, even Marianna. Despite her unenthusiasm, Marianna loved to dress up, and wouldn't turn down the opportunity. "So Marianna, do you have a date to the wedding" Finn spoke up as they sat at the table having breakfast, Isaiah and Ada sitting with them. "As a matter of fact I do, a very handsome man" she made sure to say the last part with enthusiasm staring right at Isaiah. "Wait you do, who" Ada was eager to know which boy she had got her grip into. "I guess you'll just have to wait until the wedding" she said as she grabbed her toast in her mouth and walked off.

Marianna had put the finishing touches on her makeup, as she stepped out of her chair, brushing down her dress and placing on her heels. "Do you mind helping me" she heard the little voice behind her, a struggling Louis, trying to fix the collar of his shirt. "Don't you look like a handsome young man" she said as she leaned down and fixed his collar, he then put both of his little hands on her face, placing a kiss on her cheek, "and you look like a handsome young woman" she giggled at his response. "Come on now we can't be late" she stood up holding out her hand for the young boy, as they headed out.

ISAIAH'S POV:

I was talking to Finn and Michael when I felt the words get caught in my throat, they couldn't quite roll off my tongue, like I had forgotten to speak. I always thought Marianna was a beautiful girl, but when I saw enter, words stop forming, because they just didn't make sense, in that moment I realised that she was perfect. Her dressed framed her body, the satin drapping meticulously on her glowing skin. Her eyes reflected off of the candlelight, her lips creasing just enough to form a subtle smile, so small but so overwhelmingly powerful in occupying my mind.

THIRD PERSON POV:

The girl had waked into the church, as the guests began to simmer down, taking their seats, completely unaware of the eyes staring into her from a distance, as she guided the young boy to their seats.

The ceremony was beautiful, as she turned and saw little tears trickling down Louis face, causing her to giggle, "what happened to my confident boy from before", he didn't find this amusing, which only made her laugh more. The two leaving with the crowd as they all headed for the more appealing evening celebrations.

The night was warm, as people danced around the fire place, laughing and drinking. Louis ran laps around the poor older girl as she tried to keep up with him, but he was so fast. She took a seat by the fire place as Louis and another younger boy play fought in front of her, showing off their skills.

"So this must be your very handsome date, though I didn't realise you were having that much trouble you had to go for the younger ones" Isaiah drew away the girls attention, as she yelled at the boys to be careful by the fire, "please your just jealous that I have date and you don't". "Oh but darling I do, and mine isn't a child" he responded pointing to a brunette haired girl who stood waiting awkwardly for Isaiah to return, "well then don't let me keep you from your date", Marianna almost felt a twinge of disappointment but didn't say anything as he watched the boy walk off to his date, she always knew Isaiah messed around with lots of girls, but it was weird to see in person.

The music had slowed down, as Marianna sipped on her drink, her thoughts being disrupted by a hand placed in front of her gaze, "a dance milady". She looked up and saw the bright wide smile of the little boy as she placed her hand in his tiny one and they began to spin off into the crowd.

Marianna found it difficult to navigate dancing with a 6 year old who was significantly smaller than her, but they made it work. As the two danced together, Marianna's gaze drifted off to that of another member dancing. Both of their partners turned away from them, Isaiah and Marianna continued to look at each other as they danced, neither one breaking the intense stare, until Marianna realised she had a much better date right in front of her, just as she thought Isaiah felt, though she was wrong.
