While the Professor talked with the Inspector, Atlas kept her eyes on him and watched while he folded the paper. The way his eyes moved so gently and how he always fixed his glasses, because he was nervous, was truly memorizing. She didn't really listen much, but suddenly the inspector's words caused her to look up.
"I'll tell you something so you know I'm not lying. You have 67 cell phones attached to the wall with Velcro."
The man stopped all his actions, his hands stopping the folding. Edinburgh looked at him and he slowly turned over to her, the same gaze on their faces. They were shocked. And scared. A bit.
"You have one hour to accept my offer."
"Listen, Inspe-"
He hung up.
Sergio stared in the emptiness for a while, his mind probably doing hundred turns. Probably he was thinking of Plan B and how they could implement it. The Professor always had a Plan B. Even some plan C's or D's. Atlas knew much of them, but not all.
'Cause some of them, were made for her.

"Hello, Professor?"Berlin's voice was heard through the speakers. Atlas moved the camera, which showed him, over to Sergio's screen. After a quick tumble of thoughts, he decided to call the Mint phone. She could see how nervous he was. How stressed he was.
"They have an image of all the phones on the wall. There aren't any security cameras inside, right?"
But she could also notice that he was a bit, just a little bit, mad.
Maybe because of the fact that he just ripped his finished origami figure apart.
"No, of course not, just the one we installed."
He replied, staring at the camera. Atlas felt like he was watching her and knew exactly what she was thinking at that moment. Berlin knew her too well.
"Then, it was one of the hostages."
The Professor threw the ripped up paper away, stood up and leaned forward against the table. Edinburgh watched his actions, sitting still and quiet next to him on her chair.
"You missed a phone, so find it or we're screwed."
"Let me punish them. Either we scare them, or they'll keep trying to be heroes."
"What punishment?" Sergio asked, his voice just a bit above a whisper.
"I'll make an example. An execution?"
"No." He replied sharply. "Find that phone."
The Professor hung the phone call up, nearly throwing the phone off its holder.
Sergio let himself fall down into his chair, his fingers reaching for his glasses and taking them off. While he wiped his eyes, Edinburgh sat quietly next to him, her glasses still laying on the cupboard, next to her book.
Slowly she stood up from her seat and walked over to the other side of the room. Her movements caused him to snap up and quickly look after her. Atlas could feel his eyes on her while she picked up her glasses and set them onto her nose.
Edinburgh turned around and walked over to the desk again, where she sat down and placed the headset over her head before starting her work, monitoring the cameras and keeping watch over everything.
A soft tap on her shoulder brought her out of her work and she turned to the side, to find her sunshine looking deeply at her. Their gaze met through their glasses, both staring at each other for a little. A little smile formed on her face, her eyes moving from one feature of his face to another, before they landed on his eyes again. His deep, brown eyes, hidden behind little, round glasses.
"Hi."
"Hey."
Sergio smiled.
