Everyone watched as the doors of the Royal Mint opened, the two men with a bunch of pizzas and medicals walking in. Slowly they set the bags down before heading out again, the doors closing behind them.~~~
Atlas sat by the table, nearly falling asleep. She watched the cameras while they handed out the pizzas and medical things. The Professor was meeting up with the Inspector again, trying to find out insider informations. She had no idea that he had just been bent over a table from him, being suspected he was carrying a microphone.
Suddenly, a shot brought her out of her thoughts, a camera had just deactivated. Edinburgh sat up straight, fixing the headset on her head while her fingers played over the keyboard. She watched while Tokyo ran to another camera, pointing her gun at it and shooting. Deactivated.
Atlas activated her microphone after finding out what happened, not noticing the doors behind her opening and Sergio stepping inside.
"Silene." She whispered, knowing only Tokyo could hear her. Atlas watched on the cameras as she stopped for a moment, immediately recognizing her voice. The black haired woman looked into the camera to her right for a moment before continuing her way to the office.
Atlas watched as she headed to the red phone sitting at the table, pulling off the receiver and turning it on speaker. The phone in front of Edinburgh ringed and she picked it up, taking off her glasses and wiping through her eyes.
"Atlas." Tokyo whispered, knowing she ws on the other line. "Silene." She spoke back, placing her glasses back onto her face.
"I'm angry." Atlas nodded at her words, understanding her. "I know." She looked at the camera, seeing the woman looking back at her. Her chest raised and fell quickly, her neck and arms were tense.
Suddenly the red phone was pulled out of her hand and Edinburgh turned to the side shocked, only to find the Professor standing next to her.
"Tokyo." He spoke, gulping down his spit and turning to the woman next to him for a second before looking at the screen again. Atlas could see Tokyo's eyes widening for a second at the sudden change.
"Listen, if anybody lays a hand on him again, I swear to God the next shot will be aimed at Helsinki, Berlin, or you. You're out there, free, with your little assistant, while we're risking our fucking lives in this rattrap!"
Atlas watched as Helsinki stormed in with Oslo behind him, their rifles pointed at Tokyo. Sergio stood there, the phone still in his hand against his ear, just watching the entire scene. She had no idea what was going on in his mind currently, and she wasn't sure if she really wanted to know.
Berlin walked in. "Helsinki." His voice echoed through the phone and over Atlas' headset.
"Put the gun down."
Rio stormed in, but quickly was easily pushed to the ground by him.
Helsinki lowered his weapon slowly.
"So now what?" Berlin asked.
Tokyo stared at him for a second with her gun pointed at him, before turning around to the camera behind her again.
Atlas knew that Silene wasn't even listening to what she was yelling. She knew she just wanted to write a fucking love letter. While guns and stares were aimed at her, reality hit like a ton of bricks, and Tokyo knew that the five months she had believed in something were over.
"Your love story has sent your escape plan to hell." Sergio spoke into the phone, Edinburgh turning to him with wide eyes. What was he implying on?
"They have you. And Rio too."
Everyone stopped dead in their tracks, listening to his words.
"The police know who you are. You're on every news program."
Slowly he pulled the phone from his ear and set it down onto the stand again. He stayed still for a couple of seconds, taking a deep breath, before he was ripped out of his thoughts by the thought of the woman next to him, immediately turning to her. Atlas was sitting quietly in her chair, her posture was straight, her leg was shaking and she was fiddling with her fingers. She was nervous, stressed and anxious at the same time. Probably also scared and overthinking over every possible bad thing that could happen. She looked.. numb. Her eyes were even deeper than before, but in a bad way. Like you could really see that she was stuck deep in her mind, just like her pupil was a hole to her inner body.
Sergio didn't dare to say anything. He was too nervous himself. So, he just sat quietly down in his chair and slowly moved his hand on hers. They held each other's hand while just staring into the nothingness.
Everything felt numb,And they had no idea how to prepare themselves for what was going to come next, because they didn't know.
Everything could go wrong at this point.
