Nightmares & help

Entering the room, they saw Chrysanthemum tossing and turning in the sheets, eyes screwed shut, sweat dripping down her forehead as screams tour through her throat. Nobody could help her because surrounding the bed, was a bright green shield once again

"What do we do?" Hermione yelled over Chrysanthemum screams. Everyone stared in horror as the young woman yelled, trashing in her sleep "We can't do anything until that shield comes down" Dumbledore yelled

Rom shook his head "The shield is going to stay up but only Chrysanthemum sees as a threat during this can't get in" Dumbledore shared a look and was about to walk through the shield when Ron and Hermione stopped him "Wait!" Everyone looked at them wondering why they stopped him

Hermione and Ron shared a look, they knew Chrysanthemum's trust in the headmaster is broken, just as their trust in him is, but they couldn't let him know that. The two know, if he tried entering the shield, it wouldn't let him "L-let Snape try" Ron told them looking at his sister husband

Severus looked at them confused, why didn't they want Albus to help Chrysanthemum but by the looks they were sending him, he knew for some reason, he couldn't let him near the shield "Alright" Severus nodded, stepping past Albus.

Everyone watched with bated breath as Severus got closer and closer to the shield. Severus touched the shield and it glowed brightly before expanding around him, pulling him in. Severus looked back at everyone to see them sighing in relief, he wouldn't lie, he felt relief too

Not only that he didn't get hurt but because his wife trust him enough to let him in when she's having a nightmare "Chrysanthemum" Severus stepped closer, suddenly her magic wrapped around him, pulling him into her head

Everyone outside the shield watched as Severus was wrapped in green light, his eyes going glossy "What's happening?" Lavender yelled "Mrs. Potter-Prince has brought him into her mind" Minerva yelled back watching her co-worker

Chrysanthemum was on the floor in a dark room as she screamed, withering in pain. Ghost of the death eaters that died last year and today standing over her "STOP IT" Chrysanthemum screamed sobbing into her arms

"You killed me"

"I had a family"

"We had kids"

"My daughter doesn't have a father now"

"We're all alone"

Voice echoed around her, making her cover her ears trying to block them out as burn marks appeared on her arms and legs "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Chrysanthemum screamed a bright light emitting around her

Suddenly the voices were gone. The people hitting her and burning her were gone.

In the real world everyone sighed in relief as Chrysanthemum stopped screaming but they were still worried since she was sobbing "Hurry up Severus" Flitwick whispered

Severus looked around a dark room wondering where he was, when he heard sobbing. Looking around, he saw a body on the floor covering their head while sobbing "Chrysanthemum" He called. The sobbing slowly stopped as the person picked up their head

"S-Severus" A voice called out. It was weak and raspy, nothing like his wife's strong but soft voice that made you think you were standing inside listening to the rain fall "My Queen" Severus rushed towards the body falling to his knees next to her. He stared in horror at the burn marks on her arms and legs and the bruises that started to form, he only hoped none of this is happening in the real world

"Severus" Chris whispered crying as he took her in his arms "What's happening?" Severus pushed her hair out of her face "You're having a nightmare, you need to wake up"

"No this isn't a nightmare, it feel to real"

"It is" Severus promised "It is and I need you to wake up. Come on Chrysanthemum wake up please" Chrysanthemum shook her head "I don't know how" Severus looked around trying to find anything to wake her up with but everything was just dark. Suddenly he got an idea, grabbing one of her hands, he put it over his chest

"Focus on me. Focus on my heartbeat, this is real. Not anything else. Focus on me and waking up, okay" Chrysanthemum didn't say anything as she stared at her hand on his chest. Feeling the heat coming off him. The soothing heartbeat under her palm. The scars across his chest. She just felt him, slowly the room started to brighten "What's happening?" Chris whispered looking into her husband eyes

"You're waking up"   

In the real world, everyone watched as the shield slowly came down. The magic wrapped around Severus slowly released him, as Chris stopped crying, "She's waking up" Ginny sighed in relief

Severus' eyes snapped open, he looked around the room seeing everyone staring at him before he looked at Chrysanthemum who was slowly opening her eyes. Quickly he kneeled down next to the bed

"Chrysanthemum... come on open your eyes" He whispered, pushing some of her baby hairs away from her face "Come, open your eyes for me" Everyone surrounded the bed watching the married couple. The students expect Ron and Hermione were shocked at how soft their mean potion master was being towards their friend. The professors on the other hand smiled softly, never thinking Severus would find someone to fall in love with, but he has

Chrysanthemum eyes fluttered open. Emerald green meets jet black. Tears started filling Chrysanthemum's eyes "Severus" she whispered. Severus instantly sat on the bed pulling his wife into his arms. Chrysanthemum cried into his chest wrapping her arms around his waist as he rubbed her back "Shhh, it's okay. I promise you, it's okay" he whispered kissing her forehead

Everyone in the room shared looks, they didn't know what Chrysanthemum saw in her nightmare but it had to be really bad if she was crying without care of who was around it was a known fact Chrysanthemum didn't like to cry in front of people because she thinks they will see it as a weakness.
