Three months had passed and still neither Lucifer or Lilith had heard from their daughter Charlotte. Lucifer didn't think much on it, because his relationship with his daughter had always been difficult. True he love her very much and she loved him but truth be told, deep down she had always been angry with him over tearing her away from her first love and forcing her to conform to his views. Needless to say they didn't talk much.

Lilith on the other hand was getting more and more suspicious. Because you see, she and Charlotte had always been so close. Because unlike Lucifer, who just at right forbade his daughter to do something, Lilith would take the time to explain why and give valid reasons. Or at least reasons that were understandable. So they talked very often and that meant if she went too long without calling Lilith, something had to be wrong.

Ring-Ring!

"Hello! Von Eldrtich Yacht." Moxxie said answering the phone.

"Hello again Moxxie." Lilith greeted politely. "I'd like to speak with Seviathan please."

"One moment Madame."

Moxxie then reluctantly stepped peered into the master bedroom where Seviathan was in the middle of having an orgy with several woman.

"Pardon the intrusion sir." Moxxie said with his eyes adverted.

"What?! What do you want?!" Seviathan shouted violently.

"It's Mrs. Morningstar on the fun, she insists on speaking with you and for once I think you better reply."

"Damn!" Seviathan cursed. "Tell her...Oh alright! Excuse me ladies, I'll be right back. I nthe meantime help yourselves to my wife's closet and jewelry box."

He put on his bathrobe, stepped out of the room, and grabbed the phone.

"Lilith! How are you, my dear, sweet mother in-law?"

"Well I haven't spoken to my daughter in months, Seviathan. So you can imagine I'm a little cross."

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that."

"This is ludicrous Seviathan. I've been calling for weeks."

"And I look forward to every call."

"Do you have the gall to tell me that I've missed her again?"

"No!" He panicked. "She's sleeping!"

"I don't believe you."

"It's true. She's really beat. We wereout dancing at the casino all last night."

"You and Charlotte dancing? As I recall you always refused to go out dancing with her no matter how many times she begged you. You didn't even dance at your own wedding."

"Yes, well, I've been know to tripthe light fantastic once or twice ."

Now Lilith was getting angry.

"Don't babble your inanities at me!  I know my daughter and she wouldn't go without telling me for three months! Where is she?!"

"She's dead to the world!" He still fibbed. "We had won the jitterbug contest!"

"Oh spare me! I bet you don't even know what the jitterbug is!" Lilith scoffed. "Youcan't lie to me Seviathan, unlike my husband, part of me always suspected that there may be a snake hiding behind all that charm and good looks. Which is why I convinced Charlotte to have you sign that prenup. Remember that?"

"Uh-oh!" Seviathan thought.

"Now listen very carefully. My husband and I are taking a trip to Paris for our anniversary and to visit our old friend Stolas so we can witness the christening of his first grandchild."
