Chapter 4 : The Beginning

Jimin anxiously chewed on his fingernails, his nerves escalating as he found himself inside the quarters of the pack alpha. He braced himself for the explosion of anger directed at him,by his father and possibly other alphas..all because of his best friend who betrayed him at the most crucial time.

"Where the hell is he, Jimin?" DaeHo's anger filled voice suddenly filled the room, jolting Jimin back. They were joined by Hoseok who looked equally furious making Jimin more scared for his life.

Jimin gulped down struggling to find the right words,. "W..Work, Dad," he stammered nervously.

"Do not lie to my face, Jimin," DaeHo hissed

Jimin licked his lips and stared at him for a few seconds before bowing down "Sorry, Dad!" He bit his lips nervously, knowing he couldn't deceive the alpha. DaeHo had been a father figure to him since childhood, and he can definitely understand what went on in his head and if he was lying .

"Is someone going to say where the hell is Taehyung?" The pack alpha looked at Jimin and then at Hoseok, who stood there with his head down, ashamed.

The leader turned to his son-in-law, his eyes flashing with anger. "You two... are you now hiding things from me? I gave you one job. I told you to keep an eye on him, didn't I?" Daeho slammed the table near him in frustration, his voice carrying a tinge of disappointment in it.

"Sorry father..i have no idea where he disappeared to" Hoseok said bowing down. He was boiling with anger inside, but he didn't have an answer to give to his father in law.

Daeho groaned in frustration. "The Jeon family is about to arrive, and here I am without my son, the next leader, by my side. What am I going to say? His future bride is on her way, and she's going to be the pack Luna. Do you realise what impression we're setting for her?" Daeho continued venting his frustration directing most of it at Hoseok, who had been specifically instructed to keep Taehyung within the packland.

However, the moment Hoseok left to attend an important call, leaving the hot-blooded alpha in the care of his beta, Taehyung managed to escape, and now, no one knows his whereabouts.

The leaders eyes burned red as he spoke and Hoseok understood where his brother-in-law got his stubbornness and anger from, and he was no less intimidating than the senior alpha. "Do you even realise how significant this opportunity is? I kept all of you in the dark because I knew he was going to pull something like this If he knew, and whoever leaked this information to him, I'm dealing with you next." He said angrily

Hoseok's eyes glowed with intensity, resembling burning embers as he glared at Jimin. Jimin instinctively avoided direct eye contact, lowering his head ..well aware that once the senior alpha left, he would likely face the wrath of Hoseok. The alpha had been humiliated in front of his father-in-law, and his pride had been wounded, all thanks to Jimin's damned best friend.

Few hours earlier

"Taehyung, stop. Where are you going?" Jimin pleaded, desperately gripping Taehyung's hands as he attempted to leave the room Hoseok had left them in.

However, Taehyung forcefully squirmed out of Jimin's grasp " No, Jimin. I'm getting out of here," he declared and swiftly ran out of the home, with Jimin closely following

"What the hell? Your dad is gonna kill me and Hoseok hyung. You want those pups to be orphans or what? There are seven of them, not one or two...think about poor Jin hyung!!" Jimin desperately tried to reason with Taehyung, but the frustrated alpha was not in the mood for logical discussions.

" stop being dramatic Chim..all he can do is yell at me..nothing new!! I didn't know those people were arriving today..otherwise i would have left way earlier" he said as he began to unbutton his shirt and Jimin knew he is planning to escape the situation
