The king's voice echoed through the grand hall, "Pregnant?!" Disbelief and surprise laced his tone as Sanjang delivered the news. Queen Mina sat in her chair, her head lowered, stress evident in the tight grip of her hands on her lap. She had anticipated her husband's reaction to be one of disappointment and anger, but instead, he looked surprised...confused even....like he was struggling with an internal crisis more than anything.

Yoongi, on the other hand was frozen in place. He placed his hand over his still-flat stomach as though it could shield his pup from the brewing storm around him. His heart pounded so violently that it drowned out every sound in the room for him. Yoongie could hardly believe he was carrying a child...his destined mate's child, no less. He should have been happy. He had met the wolf who had been the subject of his dreams.....and now he was blessed to carry their pup. Yet, instead of feeling joy, he was stressed and worried about what might happen to him and his pup

While the king remained silent, lost in thought,Queen Mina sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of her nose as she turned to face Jungkook "How could you be so careless, Jungkook? We have been meticulously planning your mating ceremony, and now this, you got him pregnant? "

Jungkook and Jieun's head snapped up in shock, they weren't sure how much of their conversation Sanjang actually heard. Now they were sure he only heard half the news and for once they both felt relieved about the whole thing . Now they had an option to explain things to their parents in their terms..Jieun let out a breath of relief and looked at her brother who was still looking at their mother with wide eyes.

"Do you understand how disrespectful it is for a royal to conceive a child out of wedlock? And you are not just any royal... you are the future king! This is not what we expected from you. I am deeply disappointed!! " the queen continued, her voice laced with a mix of anger and frustration

Jungkook kept his head bowed, his jaw clenched as he endured his mother's sharp words... He didn't utter a word in his defense..he stood there rigidly as if preparing for more

The queen's frustration only increased as silence grew in the hall. She began pacing in the room in frustration "How are we supposed to present this to the council? The elders will demand an explanation, and..."

"Stop, Mina!! " the king interrupted her . He exhaled heavily....he still looked conflicted. He placed a comforting hand on his wife's shoulder "I understand this is... shocking. But..." His voice softened as he looked toward Yoongi, who was sniffling, tears streaming down his cheeks"I am ecstatic....really happy...that he is pregnant. The idea of a pup... Yoongi's pup... I have waited years for this....I prayed to the goddess every single day for the last 25 years...But under these circumstances?" He sighed deeply, shaking his head. "This is not how I wanted it to happen...I don't even know if it's ideal..." He began blabbering things that didn't make any sense to the queen or anyone

Mina frowned, confusion overtaking her anger..."My king, what are you saying?" she asked cautiously, stepping closer to him

The king abruptly stopped, his gaze distant as if his thoughts were elsewhere "I need to make a trip to the mountains...I need.....damn it!!" he muttered, almost to himself "Sanjang, prepare the vehicles. We leave immediately" He suddenly ordered to his servant, confusing everyone further

"To the mountains?" Mina repeated, her voice rising in disbelief. She quickly moved to block his path, dragging him to a corner "What is happening? Why would you leave now, of all times? My king, please explain yourself. What is going on?" there was an underlying worry as she searched his expression for answers..
