It felt shameful to Jude that she had just taken a shower in Ked's bathroom and is now wearing his clothes. Besides Ked insisting that she should do whatever she needed to and to use anything he had, her body felt too dirty for her to not get herself cleaned up.
Her black dress is shoved into a plastic bag for her to bring home, however Jude didn't feel like wearing it ever again. She acknowledged the thought of just throwing it away, thinking it will hopefully discard of the series of mischance that happened with it.
"Hey Jude?" Ked's voice appeared from the outside of his room where Jude currently was after getting herself dressed.
Jude walked over to the door and opened it. "Yea?"
Ked had a purse in his hands. Jude's stomach sank, quickly realizing it was hers.
"Oh my god, how could I forget this?" Jude reached for it, realizing that this entire time she hadn't thought even once about her belongings.
"Kyle just dropped it off. He had to rush though. For some reason." Ked said the last part bitterly, knowing Kyle didn't have it in him to face Jude himself.
Jude opened the purse and sighed in relief seeing all her belongings in the right place, including her wallet and her phone. She checked for notifications and to no one's surprise, there were many sent from Alex who both sent her multiple messages and missed calls.
"You can use my charger if you need." Ked offered, noticing the small red icon at the top corner of the phone screen.
"Oh, no need. Um, I'm going home." Jude said.
Ked furrowed his eyebrows. "Already? Are you sure you're okay?"
"I am. I promise." Jude tried to sound convincing. "You've done a lot, Ked. I have no idea how to thank you."
Ked figured Jude needed some time alone. Despite his still lingering concern, he decided that Jude probably knew what was best for herself. She deserves a time to gather herself back together, and it probably would be better done in the comfort of her own home.
He nodded slowly. "Okay. Before you go, though, could we exchange numbers?"
Jude widened her eyes slightly upon realizing she and Ked had never owned each other's number. She couldn't help but wonder about the urgency of it, not to forget that Ked is competition, the one currently winning at that, and maybe she would just rather not be in contact with the person that won over her love interest.
However, seeing all the things Ked has done for her, Jude felt it would be arrogant of her to decline. She sighed internally and gave in, then slowly handed her phone over to him.
"Alright, there you go. You should hurry, your phone's dying soon." Ked said as he returned the phone.
Jude nodded, then proceeded to make her way out of the appartement while clutching her belongings.
"Actually, I'll walk you. Let's go."
I don't need you to, Jude thought. However, feeling too exhausted to argue, she stayed quiet as Ked excited his place alongside her, and even took his time to wait until Jude had gotten her ride.
Was he always this nice?

Ked
Back home safely?Jude
Yes. Thanks again :)Ked
Don't forget to drink some water and eat.-
Jude placed her phone down and snuggled into her pillow. It's not really a surprise seeing how kind and caring Ked could be, there has to be a reason as to why he won Vinny over, right? Though she would be lying if she said she didn't hope for the same kindness and care from Vinny himself.
