Chapter 1

RED PART

"Hi this is Red and welcome back to my blog today is my first day of school and it is my senior year. I am so excited to be in my final year today I can finally be done with high school and move on to Harvard I can wait with my fingers crossed".

"Red come down now or you will be late" Mom shouted.

"Down in a minute" I responded.

"I will be leaving for school now and I will update you guys as soon as I get back from school.

"Mom I am ready to go" I came down with her backpack and some books in her hand.

"You are a senior now you need to spend your time wisely "Mom advised.

"I know that but Mom I just wanted to post a little note for my followers on my blog that's all" I explained.

"Alright but I think it is time you stop writing these blogs" Mom said in a low tone.

"I think I can mom if I am going to be in Harvard you know that I will major in Journalism and media" I said with a smile.

"If I do I will need to show something and this my blog with millions of views is the thing mom" I said.

"Please mom this is only I love apart from school please don't let me stop" I added.

"Okay but please don't forget your studies" Mom advised.

"I will not mom" I responded.

"Okay off to school" Mom ordered.

MARK PART

"Mom where is my hoddie?" Mark shouted.

"it is over there" Mom said pointing to my last drawer.

"Couch called." Mom said as she sat on my bed.

"What did he say?" I pretended not to know what he said.

"He said he wants you back on the team." Mom said a little excited.

"How did he know that I was resuming?" I asked confused.

"The principal knew since I called last week I guess she told the couch" Mom responded.

"I don't if I can play mom" I responded as sat on the bed.

"You can dear" Mom consoled me as she brought me close for hug.

"I have not played in a year" I was so sad basketball was my entire life now it is not.

"You have played basketball since you were a little boy so it come to you easily" Mom encouraged me.

"I will think about it" I responded.

"Don't take to long your team mates are waiting for your return Captain" Mom said.

"Mom stop" I said.

"You know you are the best they lost last season without you after you took them to states Mark, scouts are looking for you all you need is one game and you will gain scholarship into any college and continue your career as a basketballer please son do this for me and your dad" Mom explained.

"I will think about it for now I want to go to school I am already 10 minus late for my first class" I told her as I got up to leave.

"Please make me proud okay" Mom said as se gave me a hug.

"Of course, mom I am back and better" I said and left for my car.
