Roses for Red

Chapter 4

GABBY PART

"Red....Red, get up" I said screaming at the top of my voice.

"Get up" I said firmly throwing a pillow at her head.

"What, what" Red said as she sat on her bed.

"Look at the time" I said pointing at my phone.

"What happened?" Red repeated going back to sleep.

"Evening practice has started like five minutes ago and the coach will be in the gym any second" I stressed.

"What?" Red stood up going straight to wash her face.

"Brush your hair too" I shouted.

"Jake called me like ten times to tell me" I said.

"I had to rush down her with his car because my mom dropped in school" I added.

"Now, I have to pick him up after practice" I complained bitterly.

"That is nice of him" Red said.
"Hey, what of me?I am nice too" I said very annoyed that Jake is talking all the credit.
"You are nice too" Red said smiling.
"Now,how do I look?" Red asked coming out with her red gym short and cropped brown uni shirt and her gym bag.

"You look good but pack the hair up and wear a zip up hoodie okay" I said with a smile.

"Thanks" Red said and ran off.

"I can't believe this girl" I said with a smile and left for my house.

I entered Jake's car to go home when I remembered the first time I ever got into this car. 

Jake opened the door and I got in giving him a little nod in place of saying thanks, he is the perfect gentleman I thought then he got in and turned on the engine and that was the start of the best night of my life. He was meant to take me home since he came to see Red but instead, he took me out to eat and star gaze, and under the shinning stars our lips touched it wasn't planned or anything I never thought I would ever do anything with a school golden boy but my body did the opposite of what my mind said. I was a teenage girl and he is a hot high school boy and I wished things ended there to admit I didn't want to end there but he brought me back to my senses before things could go south or rather east.  

"Gabs open up" My mom knocked me out of my thoughts.

"Hi, mom" I said with a smile.

"Whose car is this?" She asked really stern.

"This is Red's friends car" I responded.

"He plays basketball and since Red didn't come to school so he offered me his car since he is having evening practice"  I added to satisfy her.

" I will be going to pick him up later on" I said coming out of the car.

"Okay" My mom said and got into her car and drove off.

"I really should stop thinking about that night" I said out loud.

"Anna are you home?" I shouted to my little sister.

"Come in" Anna said opening the door.

RED PART

"I am here, I am here" I said running into the gym.

"The coach isn't here" Jake said.

"Thanks" I said as he handed me water.

"Here is your whistle and also your sheets" Jake said.

"Thanks" I said again smiling.

"Here take this and clean your face" Mark handing me a towel.

I looked at the towel for while and went straight to where the towels are being kept and took one.
