"Let me go or else" I shouted as I could feel his breath on my neck.
"Or else what?" He said in my ears.
"Mark, please let me go" I begged after realizing that I was in a stupid high school party and no one cared.
"I will. Right after you tell me, you forgive me for what I said" He insisted.
"No, I won't" I said trying to look away.
"Okay" He said moving his lips an inch from mine.
"What are you doing?" Catherine said from behind.
"Red, leave him" she said next.
Mark took the hint and let me go and he left immediately and by the look he gave. It showed that this is not over.
"Stay away from Mark" She said as soon as he was far from us.
"You should tell him to stay away from me too" I snapped back.
"You are the one all over him" I added and left immediately before any come back from her.
I called Gabby so many times, but she disconnected my calls. I had only one option.
"Hey, are you the Uber driver?" I asked as I looked at the car who just pulled up.
"Yes, that's me" He said, pointing to his phone.
"Red is that you?" my mom shouted from the kitchen.
"Yes" I said, entering the kitchen.
"Home early" She said passing me water.
"Yes" I said looking for some Ben&Jerry in the fridge.
"Was it that bad?" She asked.
"Yes, it was" I said opening the ice cream angrily.
"What happened? Tell me everything?" She said grabbing a spoon.
"Well, I lost Gabby at the party and when I called her phone was disconnected. Then it went straight into voicemail, then I met Mark and worse Catherine," I said looking at thin air.
"What is bad about meeting Mark?, you guys used to hang out all the time." She grabbed a spoonful of ice cream.
"Well, he disappeared remember" I said trying to explain.
"Yes, I do but I am sure he had a reason......"She tried to explain.
"His dad died" I said immediately.
"You are just telling me now" She said looking for her phone.
"It is already late. She would be asleep by now" I said looking at the time that was almost midnight.
"You are right, we will go there tomorrow" She said after taking a breath.
"You go, I don't want to see his face" I said going to my bedroom.
"You are coming with me tomorrow" She ordered.
"You can't make me" I shouted from my room.
"What the hell?" I said as my phone would not stop buzzing as i came from the bathroom.
"Oh great now she remembers me" I said out loud as I saw Gabby text.
