"Please Gabby," He said looking at me so sweetly
"I will be your girlfriend," I said smiling and he instantly hugged me.
"Gabby, Gabby" Red called out.
"Yeah," I said bouncing out of my thoughts.
"Did you hear what I was saying?" Red asked as we approached our lockers.
I didn't hear a thing I have been thinking about how I would tell her about me and Jake being together but each time I think of something it always sounds wrong.
"Gabs, what is wrong?" Red asked.
"Nothing," I said sharply removing my books from my bag.
"I know you and I know something is wrong" She added sounding worried.
"The thing is........." I lost words.
"Red you must come to my party," Jake said putting his hands on my shoulders.
"She has refused to and I have tried" I added removing his hands then he went for my hair.
"Don't even try it this hair is the pride of close to 2 million people on my socials" I said pushing his hands off.
"I can see you guys have made up," Red said as she noticed the friendly behavior between us.
"We were not fighting I just hated him because I thought he wanted to steal the love of my life which is you of course from me but I think he has found out that no one can replace me," I said with a smirk on my face and putting my hands on Red shoulders facing him.
"Well sweetheart, don't be too sure about that yet," Jake said in response.
"Please, come to my party I will be expecting you," Jake said giving her the invite.
"And don't bring her along she is a pain" He added and left immediately to the boy's locker room.
"Do you believe that guy?" I said smiling at his back.
"Yeah, I do plus I don't still think I am going," Red said looking at the invite.
"Why? It is time to loosen up and I guess what we are going for is that party and you are going to look hot" I said smiling and left for my Chemistry class.
I felt a hand drag me inside the janitor's closet and I almost let out a scream.
"It is me," Jack said.
"I am still going to scream," I said giggling.
"I am sorry for what I said earlier please come to my party i won't be at a party if my girlfriend is not there," Jake said holding my waist.
"I was going to come anyway, Mark invited me," I said smiling.
"He wants to make up with Red" Jake said looking worried.
"Did they fight?" I asked very confused.
"No no I mean he wants to know the Red friend I talked about when he was gone," Jake said acting rather strange.
"I have to go to class," Jake said pecking my neck making it hard for me to focus on what I was saying.
"When did class become so important?" He said looking at me.
"Chemistry is, I might not be Red that wants to Harvard but I have to get into an Ivy League if I want to survive the high-class lifestyle my mom wants to introduce me to," I said rather sad about the normal life I used to have.
"When are going to see him?" He asked worried about me.
"Who ooh my stepdad," I said after I remembered I told him about my new father.
"On Sunday, we will attend church then have lunch then I will see my room in his house," I said a bit disappointed that I was moving far.
"Have you told Red?" He asked looking at me and taking a very deep breath.
"No, she seems kind of distracted lately," I said very worried.
"I am very worried but she is not cracking at all" I added.
"She will be fine" He assured.
"I hope so," I said in agreement.
"Can you walk me to class?" I asked very sweetly.
"Of course my lady," He said using an old British ascent grabbing my hands.
"Not holding hands," I said removing my hands from his.
"Of course" He smiled.
RED PART.
"What of this dress?" I said looking at Gabby.
"That is hot but the red one is better," she said applying her red lipstick.
"The red one is too much like it looks like a billboard saying I am a slut look at me," I said dancing around.
"Nobody will say that plus I will be there with you the whole time," she said holding my shoulder in front of the mirror.
"This dress is perfect," she said looking at me in the red dress.
"What are you doing?" I asked seeing Gabby on her phone.
"Calling an Uber because I am going to drink and these hands are not touching any steering wheels," she said picking up the Uber's call.
"Who will drive us back?" I asked a bit confused.
"Jake would drive us back," She said entering the car.
"I asked him" she added.
We entered the party and as expected the whole school was there, it had been so long since I had been to a school party and luckily for me, I had Gabby's company.
"I will go get us some drinks," Gabby said and left.
"Okay," I said as I watched her enter a large crowd full of teens dancing to loud music blasting.
I walked around for a while waiting for Gabby but she took so much time, I went towards the pool but saw the one person I didn't want to see.
"Red, Red" Mark shouted.
"What?" I shouted.
"I want to say I am sorry," He said.
"Okay," I said.
"You won't forgive me," He said.
"Yes," I said sharply.
"What should I do for you forgive me?" He asked smiling.
"Save your breath," I said moving away.
"Wait," He said holding me down.
