"Good Morning, Class!"
"Good Morning, Ma'am!" Everyone greets her back.
"Prince, please lead the prayer." And everyone's head looked at him.
"Ma'am ako? Ma'am bakit ako?" Maarteng itinuro nito ang sarili.
"Dali na bakla." His seatmate urged.
"Yes, ikaw nga." I smiled. Teacher ka, kalma. Self kalma ka lang. Wala ka pang lisensya baka ma Tulfo ka agad.
"Please, come in front to lead the prayer." She maintains her professional posture. Na-gets ba?"
"Yes, Ma'am!"
"Please be quiet. Prince you may lead now."
"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen..."
"So, when we say FANBOYS it means what?"
Kasi diba what is learning if your students can't understand what you are talking about.
Hihikab lang sila at mabobored while in the class at mawawalan ng interes makinig sa klase.
"Again, let's try one by one if you really know the FANBOYS."
Some of the students raised their hands, some are confused or takot lang na magkamali magrecite dahil baka tawanan sila and some know nothing at all. Kahit ipaliwanag mo ng paulit ulit ang lesson kung walang will at motivation ang students mo sa pag-aaral from their parents and environment never silang matututo.
"Yes. Wensley."
"Ma'am F - for, A - and, N - nor, B - but, O - or, Y - yet, S - so. FANBOYS Ma'am!"
"Wow! That's great, Thank you! You may take your seat, how about the others?"
"What about the SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTION examples?... Yes Ricah."
"Ma'am Subordinating Conjunction words are ISAWAWABUB." Ricah.
"Can you ilaborate what are these ISAWAWABUB?"
"Yes ma'am. I for IF, S for SINCE, A for AS, W for WHEN, A for Although, W for WHILE, A for AFTER, B for BEFORE, U for UNTIL, B for BECAUSE.
"That's nice Ricah, you are good. Good job! Please take your seat..." Teacher Sky smiled and asked another question.
"How about the CORRELATIVE CONJUNCTIONS, anyone?" Teacher Sky.
"Okay Josh, it's your turn." Teacher Sky smiled.
"Ma'am, Correlative conjunctions are used in pairs. Some examples are, Hardly... when, Such... that, Neither... nor, ahm, Whether... or, As... as, So... as, So... that, Rather... than... Okay na po yan ma'am, tama po ba?"
