As Anntonia entered the house, she slammed the door shut in frustration. She felt irritated that Michelle didn't follow her inside. After all, Michelle seemed angry with her, so why would she expect Michelle to want her company?

She climbed up the stairs and went straight to their bedroom. Sitting on the sofa, she pondered her feelings. Why was she so angry? What did it matter if Michelle called someone else her "wifey"?

Anntonia couldn't help but feel a pang of hurt in her heart when she overheard Michelle referring to someone else as "wifey." It was a painful reminder that someone else was being given that title while she, as the true wife, felt like she was being treated as an enemy.

While contemplating, Anntonia couldn't help but recall a past memory.

"Anntonia," Mr. Porsild called out to his daughter.

Anntonia approached her father and saw him accompanied by a man who was the same age as her father, along with a young girl who was the same age as Anntonia. The young girl was incredibly beautiful, with dark brown eyes gazing at Anntonia intensely.

"Hi, Daddy," Anntonia greeted her father, planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Anntonia, my dear, this is your Uncle Derrick, my close friend, and this is your uncle Derrick daughter, Michelle," her father introduced the people accompanying him.

"Hello, Anntonia," Uncle Derrick greeted her with a smile. Anntonia smiled back and kissed his cheek.

"Hi, Anntonia," Michelle greeted her with a smile, extending her hand towards Anntonia.

"Hi, Michelle," Anntonia greeted her with a smile, shaking her hand.

Anntonia's young heart felt a sense of admiration for the new acquaintance.

Amntonia's father invited his friend Mr Derrick Dee and his daughter to their house to introduce them.

A lavish dinner was prepared by her father for the occasion. While at the dining table, the two fathers engaged in lively conversation, while Anntonia and Michelle remained quiet, seemingly observing each other.

The conversation of two men shifted sharing stories about their children. Mr. Porsild recounted some of Anntonia's past mistakes that had led to her being reprimanded by her father.

Anntonia felt a sense of embarrassment as her father shared these stories. She looked towards Michelle and noticed her laughing at what she heard.

Michelle glanced at Anntonia, giving her a mischievous look, which only further annoyed Anntonia. The admiration she once felt towards Michelle was replaced with irritation.

She didn't like being laughed at, and she assumed that Michelle was different from the other children she had met. She realized that Michelle was just another person who lacked empathy for others' feelings. From that moment on, Antonia decided to view her as an enemy.

Anntonia let out a sigh as memories of her youth with Michelle resurfaced. In her younger years, she had developed a deep admiration for Michelle. However, due to the events that transpired between them, she had buried that admiration deep within her heart, believing that it was no longer valid.

It's not uncommon for admiration to fade or transform over time, especially when faced with challenging circumstances or conflicts. Anntonia had chosen to suppress her feelings of admiration towards Michelle, perhaps as a way to protect herself from further hurt or disappointment.

As she reflected on these memories, Anntonia couldn't help but wonder if it was time to reassess her feelings. Perhaps it was worth considering whether her initial admiration for Michelle held any validity or if it could be rekindled in a different light.
