On the day of Michelle and Anntonia's departure to Greece for their honeymoon, they woke up early. Their flight was scheduled for 1:00 PM, and they needed to be at the airport two hours before departure. Since they had already packed their belongings the previous night, they didn't have much to take care of in the morning.
Michelle was in the kitchen, humming a cheerful tune as she prepared their breakfast. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, adding to the anticipation of their upcoming trip.
On the other side, Anntonia had just woken up as well. She stretched her arms and yawned, feeling a bit groggy from her deep sleep. As she sat up in bed, she glanced at the clock. It was almost 7am in the morning.
She stood up from the bed and made her way to the bathroom to wash up and brush her teeth. After completing her morning routine, she headed downstairs and went to the kitchen. There, she saw Michelle busy preparing their breakfast. Michelle always woke up early to prepare their meals, and Anntonia couldn't help but smile at her thoughtfulness.
Ever since their conversation at the bar the previous night, their interactions had gradually become more amicable. They were making progress in repairing their relationship, and Anntonia felt a sense of relief and hope for the future.
"Good morning," Anntonia greeted Michelle, her voice filled with warmth.
Michelle turned around, a bright smile on her face. "Good morning, Ann! Breakfast is almost ready. Take a seat, and I'll bring it to you."
Anntonia sat down at the table, feeling grateful for the effort Michelle put into their morning meal. As Michelle brought over plates of pancakes, bacon, and freshly squeezed orange juice, Anntonia's stomach grumbled in anticipation.
"Thank you. This looks amazing," Anntonia said, her eyes sparkling with appreciation.
Michelle joined her at the table, a sense of contentment evident on her face. "You're welcome, Ann. I wanted to start our day with a delicious breakfast. Let's enjoy it together." They savored their meal, engaging in light conversation.
"Mom called last night. She said they'll be driving us to the airport, along with your parents," Michelle said with a smile.
"Indeed. They are incredibly supportive," Anntonia replied while nodding her head.
"Well, they just want to make sure we're actually leaving," Michelle joked, playfully teasing.
Anntonia chuckled at the joke. "Well, they're the masterminds behind this, after all," she said,
The two continued eating. After finishing their meal, they both helped in clearing the table. Anntonia washed the dishes while Michelle went to the study room because she needed to email an important document to Max.
After Anntonia finished washing the dishes, she went back to her room. When Michelle finished her task, she also headed to her room, but before she did, she knocked on Anntonia's room to inform her that they needed to get ready to leave for the airport.
Several minutes passed, and Michelle finished showering and getting dressed. She walked out of her room, carrying her luggage. As she passed by Anntonia's room, she knocked on the door, and after a moment, it opened.
"Are you ready?" Michelle asked with a smile.
"Yeah," Annntonia replied.
"Let's go. You go ahead downstairs, and I'll take care of our luggage. Our parents should be arriving soon," Michelle said as she entered Anntonia's room to get her luggage.
Anntonia nodded and left the room, making her way downstairs. Michelle followed shortly after, carrying both of their bags. They were in the living room when there was a knock on the door. Anntonia opened it, revealing their parents' smiling faces.
