Anntonia woke up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping outside her window. Stretching her limbs, She slowly got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. Several minutes passed. Anntonia stepped out from the bathroom and sat in front of the mirror to fix herself up.
She glanced at her arm and noticed a bruise that was still there. She remembered what happened last night and couldn't help but smile. It was the first time she and Michelle had a conversation without arguing or fighting.
Anntonia saw the gentle side of Michelle. She felt the warmth of Michelle's palm as it carefully caressed her arm. There was concern in Michelle's eyes every time she glanced at her, and her soft voice felt like a soothing embrace, comforting her in the midst of any coldness.
During those moments, Anntonia's heart was touched by Michelle's gestures, and any animosity or anger between them seemed to disappear. She felt the love and care that Michelle showed that night and brought clarity and joy to Anntonia's heart. With each touch and word from Michelle.
Anntonia's train of thought was interrupted by a knock on her door. She opened it and saw Michelle standing there with a smile.
"Good morning," Michelle greeted her.
"Good morning," Anntonia replied with a reciprocating greeting.
"I cooked breakfast. Would you like to eat?" Michelle said in a gentle voice.
"Okay, sure," Anntonia responded.
Michelle nodded and walked ahead, with Anntonia following closely behind. As they descended the stairs, there was another knock on the door.
Michelle opened the door, and her mother greeted her with a warm smile.
"Good morning, my daughter," Mrs. Dee greeted Michelle.
"Good morning, Mom," Michelle replied, embracing her mother and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning, Mom," Anntonia greeted Mrs. Dee.
"Good morning, dear," Mrs. Dee embraced Anntonia as well.
"Have you had breakfast, Mom?" Michelle asked as she guided her mother inside the house.
"Don't worry about me, dear. I've already had breakfast. How about the two of you?" Mrs. Dee replied.
"We're just about to have breakfast, Mom," Michelle responded to her mother.
"Alright, go ahead and have your breakfast. We have something to discuss later," Mrs. Dee said with a smile.
They proceeded to the kitchen to have their meal. Michelle pulled out a chair for her mother and helped her sit down. She also pulled out a chair for Anntonia and assisted her in sitting down. Michelle then took a seat beside Anntonia.
While they were eating, Mrs. Dee began to speak.
"Actually, why I'm here is to discuss your honeymoon," Mrs. Dee said with a cheerful tone.
Michelle and Anntonia were taken aback by the sudden topic. They both took a sip of water almost simultaneously to recover from their momentary surprise.
"Is a honeymoon really necessary, mom?" Michelle replied, expressing her thoughts.
Mrs. Dee looked at Michelle with a gentle smile. "I understand your perspective, but a honeymoon is a special time for newlyweds to create beautiful memories together. It's a chance to relax, celebrate your love, and embark on a new adventure as a married couple." Plus, it's an opportunity to explore a new place and experience different cultures. It can be a truly magical and romantic experience."
