CAROLINE'S DREAM

Caroline is laying beside Echo resting her head on her chest tracing her fingers in circles over her chest, Echo has her arm around her holding her tightly

Caroline: Echo?

Echo: Yes, darling?

Caroline: How can I see you and dream about you? Where are you in the real world?

Echo: Currently daggered in a coffin somewhere.

Caroline: Daggered?

Echo: My paranoid brother who loves to act like he's the one in charge of our family and is free to dole out punishment whenever we anger him. This time I've been daggered for since before the 20s. Stella; closer to 150.

Caroline: Stella? The one Elena' sees?

Echo: The very same.

Caroline: What happened?

Echo: My sister Rebekah betrayed me and my brother Kol. We were making a special dagger to finally give our brother a taste of his medicine and Rebekah betrayed us. I tried to escape but Elijah held me down so my bastard brother could shove that dagger in my heart.

Caroline blinks up at the beautiful red head who looks down at her running her fingers though her hair, she kisses her softly on the forehead. Caroline smiles nuzzling into her arms.

Caroline: I can't wait until we cuddle for real.

Echo: I can't wait either, my darling.

MYSTIC GRILL

Elena is sitting at a table. Stella has appeared across from her looking around the Grill then stares at HER doppelganger.

Stella: Charming place, Love.

Elena: Don't hate. The Grill's a nice place

Stella: I like the view in front of me, my love.

Elena's face turns a bright shade of pink, tucking her hair behind her ears. Damon appears and plops down at the table

Damon: Still talking to your imaginary girlfriend? What would Stefan think?

Elena: What do you want, Damon?

Damon: A lot of things. One; a huge dick in my mouth. Two; whatever comes next.

Elena stands up and grabs her things

Damon: Where are you going?

Elena: I made myself clear, Damon. I want nothing to do with you.

Damon: Okay. See you at Jenna's barbecue.

Elena: How did you know about Jenna's barbecue?

Damon: It was my idea. Jenna went to high school with Mason Lockwood so I figured a social gathering would be a good way to get to know the guy. So I told Ric to tell Jenna and...

Elena: Does Jenna know that you're going to be there because she's not exactly a fan of yours.

A woman arrives and gives him a box with a pie in it. Stella rolls her eyes in boredom.

Damon: Perfect. Thank you. I'm hoping this peach cobbler will pave the way.

Elena: What are you up to?

Damon: I'm gonna put some silver into Mason Lockwood and prove he is a werewolf. See you at the barbecue.

He walks away.

Stella: Do be careful around the Lockwoods, my love

Elena: Stella, what do you---

Stella: Just promise me that you will be careful around them.

Elena: I promise.

GILBERT HOUSE

Elena and Jenna are in the kitchen.

Elena: Thanks for letting me invite Caroline. She could use a day of distraction.

Jenna: Well, she's not the plus one I'm worried about. Why is Damon coming?

Elena: Because Alaric is a pity taker. Come on Jenna, be nice.

Jenna: I'll be nice when Damon learns to keep his paws off you.

Elena: You don't have to worry about Damon, Jenna. He's gay.

Mason walks into the kitchen. Stella is sitting on top of the counter, hops off and narrows her eyes glaring at him in hatred.

Stella: I knew I smelled dog.

Elena: That would be my exit

She leaves the kitchen as Stella takes one last glare at Mason before disappearing.

FORBES HOUSE

Caroline walks into her bedroom shirtless in a white lace bra, she looks at herself in the mirror. Echo is laying on her bed resting her head against the headboard, she lets out a wolf whistle

Echo: I love your beautiful body, darling.

Caroline smiles, blushing a light shade of pink.

Caroline: Echo, stop it!

Echo: What? It's true, my darling. You have an amazing body but it's mine and only mine. Do you understand?

Caroline: Of course. I know.

Echo stands up and walks behind her staring into her eyes in the mirror

Caroline: Echo?

Echo: Yes?

She softly trails her fingers across her collarbone, pressing her lips to her shoulder making the blonde beauty bite down on her lips.

Caroline: How do you control the urge of ripping someone's throat out?

Echo: It's not easy, darling but you have me to help you even if I'm not really here.

Caroline turns around as Echo places her hands on her hips smiling lovingly at her, Caroline tilts her head gazing at her with a loving look.

Echo: God, you are so beautiful

She brushes her hair out of her face, tucking the locks behind her ear. She places her finger under her chin leaning in closer

Echo: I really want to kiss you right now

Caroline: I want to kiss you too.

Echo: When we are finally together, I am going to kiss your lips over and over again. Never let you leave. We'll going to be together forever and ever

Caroline: You promise?

Echo: I promise, my darling.
