MYSTIC FALLS HIGH
Echo pulls up her car into the parking lot of the school and hands Caroline a flyer
Caroline: What's this?
Echo: I brought the Grill and business is slow so I'm doing something to bring in business.
Caroline: Wow. You brought the Grill?
Echo: Yes I did, darling. Is there something you want to tell me?
Caroline: Yeah! I...I mean, no, I...it's just not that easy.
Echo: You're at a loss of words? That's new.
Caroline punches her in the shoulder, chuckling
Caroline: Rude.
Echo cups her chin caressing it lovingly staring into her eyes then presses her lips to hers. Caroline's breath hitches as she slowly moves her lips against hers
Elena is sitting inside her car looking to the passenger seat where Stella is
Elena: Why is she here? What does she want?
Stella: She's Katerina, Love. She wants Niklaus dead.
Elena: Or maybe she knows about me being your soulmate and wants to lure you into her web.
Stella: Never, darling. You're the only doppelganger for me.
She places her hand on the side of Elena's face. Elena shivers at the cold feeling running through her body, leaning into her touch.
Stelle: It won't be long, my love.
She kisses her on the forehead
Stella: Until then, know this: I love you
Elena: I love you.
GILBERT HOUSE
Stella leans against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest watching her doppelganger in the kitchen with Bonnie and Caroline.
Caroline: Chinese food or pizza?
Elena: Like you have to ask.
Caroline: I will get it.
She takes out her tablet and smiles at the background of her and Echo, both smiling in the picture.
Bonnie: I got it
Elena: Do you believe that Jonas is being sincere?
Stella: No I do not.
Bonnie: I don't know what to believe. I think he's at a loss. He's not sure who to trust.
Elena: Join the club.
Caroline: Well, what are we going to do about this movie situation? What about "The Notebook"?
Elena: Caroline, how many times have you seen that movie?
Caroline: That's not the point and I happen to be living my very own Notebook with my sexy red headed girlfriend.
Elena walks to the cupboards taking three cups, walking past Stella who brushes her finger against her arm making Elena shiver at the cold feeling.
Caroline: Echo totally agrees with daggering Elijah by the way
Elena looks behind her seeing Stella giving her a smile and a nod
Elena: Stella too.
Bonnie: Elena. Did you know you would die in the sacrifice?
Elena: Yes.
Caroline and Bonnie looks at her shocked while Stella sighs sadly.
Caroline: Are you serious? Are you seriously willing to die?
Elena: I trust my soulmate bond with Stella. I know in my heart she won't let me die. Like you and Echo, Caroline.
Bonnie: Elena........that's too much of a risk. What about Jenna? Jeremy? Us?
Elena: I can't handle if anyone dies-----I love Stella. I know she'll keep me alive.
Stella: And I will gladly give up my life for you, my love. You're so bloody special to me.
MYSTIC GRILL
Echo is sitting at the bar with a glass of bourbon in her hand. Elena, Bonnie, Jenna, and Caroline walks into the Grill
The blonde vampire looks around the Grill, eyes landing on her girlfriend. She smiles and walks towards her.
Caroline: Hey baby
Echo: Hey yourself, darling.
The blonde snakes her arms around the red head's neck and kisses her over and over again on the lips. Echo smiles each time their lips meet
Echo: What brought that on? Not that I'm complaining
Caroline: I really love kissing you.
Elena makes her way towards the bathroom. Caroline takes her jacket off and hands it to Echo
Echo: What are you doing?
Caroline: It's a surprise
She goes on the stage and takes the microphone.
Caroline: Hey, everybody. Let's hear it for the band! Weren't they awesome?
Echo watches her with a look of confusion written on her face
Caroline: So there's this girl and, uh, she's really special to me. She means everything to me. Like it's so easy. Um, you know, just 'cause I talk a lot doesn't mean I always know what I'm actually talking about. Ah, like now, I'm feeling loopy and I don't really know how to express myself.
Singer: What'll it be?
She whispers something in his hear and he tells the band the song.
Caroline: Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling. Do you feel my heart beating. Do you understand. Do you feel the same. Am I only dreaming. Is this burning an eternal flame--
Echo smiles a fond, loving smile. She walks up on the stage
Caroline: Echo, I.....
Echo cups her face and pulls her in kissing her passionately. The crowd cheers as Caroline smiles moving her lips against hers.
BATHROOM
Elena is washing her hands in the sink, she looks up in the mirror seeing Stella behind her. The blonde traces her fingers across her shoulder, the brunette bites her lip shivering at the cold feeling.
Elena: I can't wait anymore. I hate this. I'm happy for Caroline and Echo but I can't help but feel jealous. I want to be in your arms.
She turns around and looks at her, tears in her eyes
Elena: I want to kiss you.
Stella smiles reaching her hands up and cups her face
Stella: I know, darling. I want all that too but it will work out in the end. When it happens, we will never be apart.
She brushes a strand of Elena's hair out of her face while the brunette gulps gazing into her eyes
Stella: Together forever
Elena(whispers): I love you
Stella: I love you.
