Zeus
Bodies danced on a crowded dance floor. The smell of sweat and alcohol filled the air and laid heavy along the ceilings. There were so many people dancing with each other and cramming themselves into every space that they could. It was definitely the place to be tonight.
High Olympus was having their grand opening. The club was set to be the hottest in town. It would be if showings came up like opening night. Ratings were going up. There was talk of the town. Everyone will be here. Either now or eventually. They won't miss getting a taste of the fanciest club in town.
Zeus watched the mortals stumble around. Their hands full of shot glasses or wine glasses that will get them tipsy enough to act bolder than they normally do. His eyes wandered the faces that passed by the bouncers. Each mortal beautiful and crafted to perfection. Every body stuffed into some tight dress or another. Something easy to rip off.
Zeus opened this club alongside his brothers. He's tired of going out to woo girls. That's beneath him. He's a god and a king. Why should he have to woo a lover into his bed? They should come willingly to him. Fall for his charm like lambs to the slaughter. There's nothing like the anticipation when these girls throw themselves at him. When guys throw themselves at him to just end up alone in the morning. A ritual that seemed to be neverending.
"This turn out seemed to be good. We can watch the mortals more closely. See how they interact in this day and age," Poseidon says.
Poseidon was eager to throw his luck in the one nightstand environment as well. Deities was getting boring to fuck with. Too predictable. He figure this way, he wouldn't get caught as easily.
Hades scrowled. The god of the underworld had a distained look on his face. "You two are disgusting. You should be loyal to your wives."
Zeus casts him a look. "You haven't been faithful either. Do not act like you are exempt from this behavior. Besides, I do not have a wife. That ended a millennia ago."
Hades shakes his head. "Doesn't make it right." He grumbles out.
Zeus returns his eyes to the crowd. Eyeing several mortals who seem to be a good choice for the night. It'll never end up being as serious as his last marriage was. Nothing would be. One nightstands was where the magic happened. And as long as he was careful, he didn't have to worry about the consequences. It was the best of both worlds. The thrill of the sex while still being unattached. Perfect for someone like him.
Poseidon's laugh returns Zeus from his thoughts. "Bro, the Fates has decided that you were destined to be with a mortal. You better be careful."
A scorn look came on Zeus' face; his hands gripping the railing of the balcony. He hated that stupid prophecy. The Fates has decided that Zeus was to fall in love with a mortal. They laughed and said that it was written in the star. Zeus hated that. He wouldn't fall in love with a mere mortal. A mortal didn't deserve a god like himself.
"That prophecy is never going to happen. I slept with many mortals over the millennia. And I have yet to fall in love with any of them." Zeus comments.
His voice is tight however. He knows there is no way to deny the Fates. If they declare it is so, it will be. He knows this. And his brothers do also, unfortunately. There is no changing what is written to happen.
"You best be careful. Who knows? You could meet the lucky lady tonight."
Poseidon grins. "Or maybe your lover is a guy."
Zeus turns to Poseidon with a glare. "At least I didn't fuck a horse."
With that, Zeus removes himself from his brothers' presence. They only knew how to infuriate him. He would have a better time mingling with the mortals. He would have an even better time sleeping with a mortal for the night. Something to take the edge off.
