As we all waited for our food, we got to chatting. I learned that Ria was an influencer and she herself couldn't quite describe what she did. But we definitely both bonded over cars when I told her I was to start working for Lamborghini. Ria was actually the first person Nadine met here. I guess she was working and Ria came in and liked her style so she asked her to style a shoot with her.
Molly and Sydney are roommates. They were sweet and funny. Apparently wild as the night went on. Jamie was a friend of Ria and Niran. I wasn't sure of everyone I'd meet tonight but I was excited to get into the swing of this new environment.
Dinner was good. I had a simple chicken sandwich with a side of fruit and a side salad. I was so thankful that everyone was so welcoming. There is a loud crash as I'm pulled away from my thought. I look to my right as see a guy plastered against the window.
"Oh my gosh. Niran, come off it." Nadia laughed as Ria snapped a picture of the scene in front of her. Jamie gave a wave and soon enough the tall lanky guy and a girl behinds him made their way to us.
"Hey lad and mostly ladies." Niran calls as he dabs Jamie up. The pair go around the table to give all of us hugs. "Hello I do believe you're new." He states reaching out for my hand.
"I am, Eiza. Nice to meet you." I offer a wide smile to the both of them.
"Eiza, not from the UK. Nice to meet you. Niran."
"I'm Ruby, nice to meet you lovely." Ruby says.
"So are you guys almost done or what?" Niran calls while putting his hands out.
"What's your big rush, mate. It's literally only 9:30." Jamie says taking a sip from his drink.
"Ruby and I want to rage and we're not doing that sitting in this place."
"We could go back to ours and pregame it's the closest to here?" Sydney suggests. With some head nods we were all in agreement.
"Oi, Max called me earlier." Niran calls out after a shot. "Guess who he's with.." he says with a small chuckle. A majority of the group rolls their eyes.
"Please tell me he didn't drag his girlfriend here." Ria rolls her eyes as I remain completely clueless.
"No, and the Tea for you, they've broken up, both that we didn't all see it coming." Niran smirks with a pause. "No but they're going to meet up with us."
They? I question to myself. As far as I was concerned we were talking about one guy and their possible annoying girlfriend who is now their ex. "They're talking about lando. Max, Niran, Ria, and Lando are all really close friends. Niran is friends with Jamie, I'm friends with Ria, and Syd and Molly know Will, who isn't here. Will is good friends with Lando. We kind of all have just melted into one friend group." Nadine informed me.
"As you are new here, don't take Lando too serious. He loves female attention." Ria says to me with an eye roll as the mention of her male friend. I nodded in response.
"Avoid man whore Lando. Got it." I chuckle with a smile. "I like you. You're gorgeous, work for Lamborghini, and funny. Thanks for coming out tonight." Ria concludes as we gather to take another shot.
The club was dark but the strobe lights were going hard. The dj was playing great music and I was currently on the dance floor with Sydney and Nadine. "You are so beautiful." Sydney yells over the music.
"Thank you!" I yell back as I twirl her hair and throw my arms around her shoulders. I can feel the effect of the alcohol taking over as I'm feeling much more flirty. Nadine slaps my butt causing me to shriek with laughter. After a while I needed some water. We took a break to go back to the corner space we had blocked off. There were two new guys saying hi to everyone as we poured some water into our glasses. One was wearing a black tee shirt and black jeans. The other was in black pants and a white button up with his sleeves halfway rolled up showing off his forearms nicely.
