I watched as Adam and Lute went out for smoothies Adam waving me a short goodbye as Lute rolled her eyes.

Once they had left I sighed looking down at the nice grey carpeted floor. I shook my head forcing a smile as I took a book from a shelf before sitting on the sofa. Soon I opened the book and began to read. By the time Adam returned home you had already finished reading and had started to prepare dinner. I still felt a bit sour towards Lute from earlier today but tried to shake it off.

Lute came in with Adam they were giggling and laughing I seen her hug Adam from the corner of my eye. Our eyes met and she rolled her eyes before leaving.

Adam came into the kitchen and hugged me from behind.

"Welcome back" I mumbled as I continued to cook slightly leaning back into him enjoying his warmth.

"Hey baby what're you cooking?" He asked his chin on my shoulder.

"Spaghetti" I replied shortly as I shuffled towards the sink to drain the pasta.

Adam moved with me not letting go,
"Why're you in a mood?" He scoffed slightly as he let go of me stepping back.

"I'm not in a mood" I scoffed as I stir the mince and sauce into the pasta.

"You literally are" he crossed his arms and leaned on the counter.

"I'm not" I frowned slightly as I shooed him out the way so I could get into the cabinet to take out plates.

"Whatever" He scoffed shutting the cabinet for me after I took the plates out.

"Adam?" I mumbled glancing at him.

He knew what I wanted and nodded, I stepped towards him giving him a hug.

"So what's wrong babe?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around me.

"It's stupid" I mumbled into his shoulder.

"Just tell me what's wrong" he smiled down at me.

"I'm just feeling a bit jealous" I mumbled embarrassment taking over.

"Of who?" He laughed.

I shook my head pulling away from him a small smile on my face.

"I told you it's stupid" I laughed half heartedly before putting the dishes in the sink pouring hot water into the pots before grabbing cutlery.

"Your plate" I handed Adam his place and we sat at the dining table in silence.

Adam started some small talk while we ate and of course I engaged laughing with him, once we were finished eating I took our dishes and went into the kitchen washing the dishes from the cooking process and the plates. Once everyone was washed I dried them and put them away.

Once I was done I walked back into the main room and Adam was picking out a movie for us to watch, I turned the lights out and shut the curtains before joining Adam on the sofa, he lay down and I climbed onto him my head on his chest with our legs interwined.

He let his hand rest on my side as we watched the movie in silence, soon Adam broke the silence.

"Y/n.." Adam spoke softly  

"Yes?" I replied tilting my head to look up at him.

"Who are you jealous of?" He brought up again a small frown on his face.

"It doesn't matter it was stupid of me to be jealous" I shook my head 

"Please at least tell me so I can ease your mind" he asked sounding a bit sad.

"It's really embarrassing" I mumbled before rolling my eyes.
"Don't laugh at me" I warned.

"Of course not babe" he smiled.

"Lute" I mumbled quietly a blush of embarrassment appearing on my face.

Adam stifled a laugh as he sat up slightly his hands on my waist so I didn't fall of his lap.

"Really?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow.

I nodded my head slightly.

"I can promise you there's nothing there babe" he spoke gently resting his head on my shoulder.

"Lute is just a friend" Adam held back a laugh as he gently kissed my neck.

"I told you it was stupid" I mumbled

Adam moved his head from my shoulder to smile at me.

"Babe don't worry about me and Lute, even if she did have a thing for me I only have eyes for you" He smiled at me before gently leaning in to kiss me. It was a soft kiss filled with love.
