"We're back from the barbershop" Ben called as he walked in the house but the house was silent.

"Where's Mom and Pru," Tuck asked

"Her car is out there. They must be upstairs" Ben walked up to their room but it was empty. He searched the house for them and they were nowhere to be found. He thought about where else they could be at walked outside. He looked up at the treehouse and walked towards it. He climbed up and looked in and there sitting in the corner books still in hand were
Miranda and Pru cuddled up asleep.

He chuckled to himself at the sight. Despite all they went through to get Pru, having her was ultimately healing them. Especially Miranda. Ben wasn't sure when he would see his wife smile again after the miscarriage. He hated seeing his wife so broken and there was nothing he could do to fix it. But the first night they brought Pru home Miranda just stared at her for most of the night and Ben knew the two would heal each other. Seeing that also helped him heal from his own loss. He took a quick picture and then walked over to wake Miranda up.

"My love" He whispered in her ear

"Ben" She mumbled

"We are back. Did you enjoy your day" He laughed

"We watched Gracie's corner. We had a tea party. We went and got our nails done. Then we came up here to read. We must've fallen asleep"

"I missed a tea party" Ben sat down

"We saved you some imaginary tea"

"How considerate of you" He laughed

"Did the boys enjoy the barbershop?" She asked

"They did, Joey has something he wants to show you" Ben smiled

She sat up and Pru slightly slid down."Randa" She tightened her grip on her

"I see how you both went to sleep now" Ben nodded

"Pru. Joey, Tuck, and Ben are home. Joey has a surprise. Do want to go see"

She rubbed her eyes and nodded. They stood up and Ben climbed down first to make sure Pru got down safely and Miranda followed after. They walked back inside the house and Joey and Tuck were sitting on the couch.

"What" Miranda covered her mouth "Look at this handsome young man" She laughed

"You like," Joey asked

"They look fantastic, Joey" She hugged him "I know we need to get ready to go out now. Joey got a new hairdo" Miranda laughed

"Look" Pru showed the boys her nails

"Very pretty Pru" Tuck smiled

"Maybe you can get Ben to paint his too and match you" Joey laughed

"Not a chance" Ben shook his head "But Miranda matches just fine"

"That's right, Pru and I treated ourselves today and it was lovely. We did what we wanted when we wanted. We even took a nap in the treehouse. It was heavenly. Pure bliss." Miranda smiled

"Makes me even more excited for dinner. We are going to put on our best dress and we're going fine dining"

"Like a suit," Tuck asked

"Suit, tie, your good shoes" Ben nodded "We're stepping out tonight" Ben smiled

"You can wear a dress shirt and slacks "Miranda laughed

"If Ben is wearing a suit, then I'm wearing a suit" Joey smiled. He found a family that loved him and wanted to keep him and each day he woke up and looked around the room he was in he was grateful for them. They had taken him in with open arms, and they had never made him feel like he was anything less than their own son. They had given him everything he had ever wanted: a loving home, a family to belong to, and a sense of security. Of course, there were times when he missed his foster siblings but Ben and Miranda always let him know that his siblings were welcome to come over. He had thought when he was found he would lose his family but he ended up gaining more family.
