[THE DEVIL WITHIN] Hazbin Hotel x Male Reader

OVERTURE

[We start off with black and white clouds about before time had a name. Before we see a glowing city in the clouds as Charlie narrates]

Charlie: Once upon a time, there was a glowing city protected by golden gates known as Heaven.

[Epic music plays as we see the outer area of Heaven being mostly nothing. We then switch to being of pure light with angels there]

Charlie: It was ruled by beings of pure light. Angels that worshipped good and shielded all from evil. Lucifer and his friend Zathanos were two of these angels. Lucifer was a dreamer with fantastical ideas for all of creation, and Zathanos was a protecter of the innocent a being who safe guarded Heaven. But Lucifer was seen as a troublemaker by the elders of Heaven. For they felt his way of thinking was dangerous to the order of their world.

[Charlie narrates as we see Lucifer and Zathanos around having a good time. But they look as angels change earth how they wish for it to be]

Charlie: So he watched as the angels began to expand the universe in their ways. From the dust of Earth, they created Adam and Lilith.

[We see a man and a woman in a garden of sorts]

Charlie: Equals as the first of mankind, but despite this,

[We see Adam laughing and telling Lilith what to do]

Charlie: Adam demanded control, and Lilith refused to submit to his will. She fled the garden

[We see Lilith running away and hiding in the trees]

Charlie: Drawn in by her fierce independence,

[We see Zathanos and Lucifer helping Lilith]

Charlie: Lucifer and Zathanos found her, and the two rebellious dreamers fell deeply in love.

[We see Lucifer, Lilith, Zathanos standing before Eve as she is on her knees]

Charlie: Together, they wished to share the magic of free will with humanity, offering the fruit of knowledge to Adam's new bride, Eve, who gladly accepted.

[We see Eve taking a red apple as sinister music plays]

Charlie: But this gift came with a curse.

[We see a black claw coming for Earth]

Charlie: For with this single act of disobedience, evil finally found its way into earth. With it, a new realm of darkness and sin. The order Heaven has worked to maintain was shattered. As punishment for their reckless act, Heaven cast Lucifer and his love into the dark pit he has created, as for Zathanos? Well, he was  tortured and made into a spirit that would hunt down any and all who would cause death and destruction. He became the Spirit of Vengeance, The Rider.
