Just as Xita was walking into the front door of her home, Kandy was sitting on the couch in the living room waiting for her.
"Hey mama," Xita greeted, her heart beating a mile a minute. So much so, that she could hear it in her ears. She felt like something was about to happen, and she didn't know whether she would be able to handle it or not.
"Don't hey mama me, I called Angel's mom. Where were you last night? And I dare yo ass to lie," Kandy stood up as if she were ready for a fight.
Xita didn't want to lie, but she wasn't ready to tell her mom the truth.
"I stayed the night at Lola's, mama I swear, you can call her and ask," Xita spat out so fast, she got tongue tied three times before she even finished her sentence.
"And the night before?"
"Mama-."
"Xita." She cut off whatever lie she felt Xita was about to tell.
"I'm sorry mama," was all she could say. She didn't want to admit to someone, she never wanted to disappoint, that she was doing something so low. She didn't want anyone she cared so much about to look down on her, and that alone was enough for her to want to quit all together.
"How many?" Kandy asked with her arm folded across her chest. She didn't know if she really wanted the answer to that question. She couldn't imagine her baby girl selling her body to strangers, not after what she had always taught her.
"What?" Xita asked with tears streaming down her face. She never really expected to have this conversation with her mother, she thought she would be able to get away with it.
"How many men have you slept with Xita?" Xita opened and closed her mouth a few times, not knowing how to answer that question. For almost half a year, she had been selling pussy and she rarely saw the same person more than once, so that number had racked up over the months.
"Mama," Xita started, trying to think of something, anything to get her mothers mind off of thatt single question, because she honestly couldn't answer it. Not without lying. She didn't know for sure, so it was impossible for her to tell the truth.
Kandy watched the battle that Xita was having with herself. She could see it in her baby girls eyes, she could see it in the tears that raced down her cheeks. She could feel it in the icy hotness of each breath that left her mouth.
"Do you not know Xita, that everyone that you've ever known will look at you differently? You know what that makes you Xita? Sleeping with all of those men? You have no idea what these men do, you don't know who they are, Xita you don't know what they got!" Kandy yelled at her. "Do you know what that makes you?" She asked again.
Xita couldn't answer. She knew exactly the word her mother was speaking of, but she didn't want to think of herself that way. She knew what she had done, and what she was doing, and she planned to stop, in her mind, she had stopped, and she was dealing with something she thought she could easily walk away from.
Booney told her that, whenever she wanted, she could walk away. She thought she would be able to walk away scot-free. She didn't think she would have to deal with the drama she was dealing with now.
"You know that makes you a hoe? You want the world to know you out here being a hoe Xita? Huh? Is that what you want?" Xita just shook her head no, staring at the ground. She couldn't look at her mother. She could hear the rage in her voice, she didn't want to look up and see it in her eyes too. "I could slap the shit out of you right now," Kandy hissed, and that caused Xita to look up, her mouth slightly parted open, only to see her mother's retreating back.
Xita slowly made her way to her room, fell into her bed. Before she could fall asleep, she made a vow that she would stop selling her body, because if this was the shit she had to deal with, she didn't want that type of hell. She would do it. She would stop.
She sent out a text to all of her regulars, letting them know that she wouldn't be escorting anymore. She sent a text to Booney and let him know she was done too. Then she texted Mason and Tony to let them know. She was done.
Ok I know y'all gone be pissed cause I'm ending it right here, I know I know what the fuck am I thinking right? Well I'm not really ending it, I'm just basically going to do a part 2 type thing? Either that, or a whole new other story a lot like this one. But I wanted to ask you guys your opinion.
Ok in this book, you know it was BASED on a true story, meaning a lot was true, but a lot was also made up, and changed and stuff. Well the next one, I'm going to try to make even more true, so a lot will be different, but a lot will be the same. Do you guys think it should just be a seperate story? Or a part two?
But the thing is, even if it is a part two, it'd be things from the first story that would be changed which is why I was just thinking of writing a second book, or something like a spin off.. No not a spin off. Just something like it. My boyfriend is all like, you should write our story. But a lot of this IS our story, but at the same time is not, so I don't want to write our story, and y'all be like, this is the same thing from the other book.. And I promise I'll start it as soon as I get a good idea of what you, the people, think it should be! So don't hate me for ending it here, because it's not really an ending if you really look at it lol I love y'all! And don't forget to comment!! Y'all go check out _TrvpQu33n stories and let her know what y'all think! That would be awesome!! Comment Comment Comment!!
