This chapter is dedicated to Qveen23__ for One in a Milyon even though I just started it, it's great so far and I love it!!

She pulled out her phone and decided to give Angel a text, even though they texted from time to time throughout the weekend. She really wasn't at all that bad, she was just extremely talkative.

Xita: Hey

Angel: Hey friend!!! Wyd???

Xita: Just got back in the house. You want to hang out today?

Angel: Sure!!! Want me to come pick you up???

Xita really didn't want Angel to come by and see her house. It wasn't horrible, okay maybe it was. She didn't want anyone to know how poor her family really was, even though it was probably pretty obvious.

Xita: How about I meet you at the mall

The mall wasn't really all that far away. Xita was used to walking anyways. It was only about an hour and a half walk away, making it about a fifteen to twenty minute drive.

Angel: Okay see you in about an hour???

Xita: Sounds good

Xita didn't really want to walk to the mall, but she finally had her first somewhat friend, and she didn't want to be stuck in the house all day. Plus she had fifty bucks from her birthday money and her extra money she just made just to blow. It was burning a hole in her pocket.

She took a shower before she left the hotel, so she didn't need to take another one. She threw on a black tank top and a pair of black skinny jeans, with a black and beige tribal print and matched them with her beige wedge sneakers. They didn't even feel like they had a heel in them, so she knew she wouldn't have blisters by the time she got to the mall.

She was just walking out of the room, when she was greeted by Oliver who sat in the living room with her mom sitting in his lap.

"Hey pops," she greeted, flashing him a smile. She didn't expect for him to be home so early.

"Hey baby girl," he smiled back, looking her up and down. "You going somewhere?" He asks.

"To the mall," she informed him nonchalantly as she made her way to the door.

"I'll take you, the mall is like an hour walk away from here," he offered, moving her mother off of his lap as if she weighed nothing at all, and sat her on the floor. He gave her a peck on the lips, before he stood and followed Xita out of the door.

"You really didn't have to, but I appreciate it," Xita expressed her gratitude, as she followed Oliver to his old beat up Cadillac. It was a light blue, rusting and paint chipping, but it got him from point A to point B without too many problems.

"You know it's no problem, baby girl," he smiled at Xita, as they both climbed into the car.

"So how was your weekend?" He glanced at her, driving with one hand, through the slightly busy streets.

"It was productive," Xita didn't want to lie to Oliver.

"You have fun?"

"It was okay," she said texting away on her phone. Her, Serenity and Yasmine had all exchanged numbers, and she was trying to talk some sense into Yasmine, about how she couldn't just sit around doing nothing, but Yasmine said she'll start when she's good and ready.
