📍The University Hospital of the West Indies
July 15, 11:34PMIt felt like forever, since i've been stuck in darkness.
I could hear voices and beeping machines, but I couldn't open my eyes or move.
I tried hard to wake up, but it was like I was trapped.
Mamaaa we trap inna this b*mb*, to rass!
The voices sounded strange and they felt farrrrr away.
Time didn't make sense anymore; it was like I was floating in nothingness.
I kept trying to move, to respond, but my body wouldn't listen.
It was frustrating and scary.
Sometimes, I felt a tiny glimmer of hope, like I was getting closer to waking up.
But it never lasted. I felt like I was stuck in a never-ending nightmare.
Eventually, I had to accept it. I couldn't fight anymore.
So, I simply let go and embraced the darkness around me.
Maybe one day, I'll find my way back to the light.
Until then, I just had to wait and hope.
With that thought, more darkness took me with open arms.

Once again, the room fell into silence, the only sound piercing the stillness was the steady beeping of the machines.
I lay there, trapped in my own body, still unable to move or wake up.
Then, a faint sound broke through the silence—the soft click of a door being unlocked.
My senses heightened, a flicker of expectation igniting within me.
But still, I remained motionless, a silent observer in my own existence.
Footsteps approached, seemingly cautious and hesitant, echoing in the empty space of the room.
The silence of the room was broken by a voice, a voice that carried a weight of sadness.
I strained to make sense of it, but my mind was clouded with fog, memories drifting just out of reach.
Who was speaking?
