Confessions and a Rejection

Kim Yi Cheol POV:

I woke up and got ready. Minho was still asleep. "Good morning", he said, as he hugged me back. I was in the middle of combing my hair.

"It's 9:00 clock. We're going to the pool", I said, as I exited the door.

I met everyone at the pool. Just then Hyunjin gasped. "Are you two dating?", asked Hyunjin, he was pointing at me and Minho.

"What do you mean?", I asked.

"No duh. They are. They're wearing the same swimsuit to announce that they're dating!", yelled Han, giving True Beauty vibes.

"Hey, take off your shirt", I said, to Minho.

"I'll do that once we're in the dorm. I didn't know you were so naughty", said Minho, making everyone ooh.

"Yah, you know what I mean", I said, chasing him around.

Soon enough everyone gathered at the pool. "Cannonball!", yelled Chan, as he and Changbin splashed in the water.

"Do you want to go in the water?", asked Felix.

"Sure", I said, racing him and jumping in the pool.

"Let's play water volleyball", said Seungmin, inventing a new game.

We played for about an hour, which was fun. I looked at Minho. He smiled at me and I smiled back. I'm glad we're friends. If we dated, then it wouldn't have worked out.

"Class, take these trackers with you. If there is an emergency, the trackers will beep okay. Come back here okay. Make sure to stay in groups", said the teacher. "Make sure to change".

My friends and I grabbed one. We went to our respective rooms and changed. "We get it, you're dating!", said Jeongin.

"Yah Minho, I told you to wear something else", I said, as he wore the same jean jacket, white shirt, black jeans outfit.

He smirked and laughed. We all walked to a nearby restaurant. I sat next to Hyunjin and Han. They told me a lot of jokes. "So what should we do next?", asked Changbin.

"Well, we could go to the karaoke they're doing tonight", suggested Felix. We finished eating. By the time we came back it was night. The karaoke between our classmates was going to begin. The karaoke was really fun. Sadly, the night ended.

I just entered the room, till Minho stopped me. "Yi Cheol, I wanted to tell you something", he said.

I froze. "What is it?", I asked.

"Well, I realized that the entire time I've liked you and no one else. When I dated Minju, I didn't feel the love that you would give me. So I'm asking you to be my boyfriend", he said, looking at me softly.

"I'm sorry, Minho. There was a time when I liked you and that was when you dated Minju. But I was able to move on. I thought you guys were meant to be. I found a liking in someone else", I said, softly.

"You know what, never mind", he said, giving me the cold eyes he did the first time we met.

"Yah Minho. Where are you going?", I asked.

"I'm going to Chan's room. Call whoever you like here if you want!", he yelled.

I looked at him as he slammed the door. This is how he repays me? For everything I've done for him? I slept on the bed and fell asleep. The next morning I woke up with no Minho by my side. I got ready and went downstairs.

"Hey guys", I said, as I saw them all in the breakfast area. I took a seat far from Minho between Felix and Changbin.

"Hey", says Chan.

The entire breakfast was silent. "Look if you guys have a problem, talk about it", said Han.

"It's making us all feel weird", said Changbin.

The others talked for a bit. Maybe I should confess. All of us were walking around the resort. I saw Hyunjin walking by himself. "Hey Hyunjin", I said.

"Hey hyung", he said.

"Can I tell you something?", I asked.

"Sure, what is it?", he asked.

"I think I've started to like you. Being with you makes me feel happy", I said.

"Really?", asked Hyunjin, with a blush. I shyly nodded. "Well guess we're dating then", he said, winking at me. I chuckled and walked with him. He did something that surprised me. He held my hand.

"Hey guys", said Han.

"We're dating!", yelled Hyunjin, making everyone near us hear that.

"Shh", I said to Hyunjin, a blush scrawled on my face.

"You are?", asked Minho, looking disappointed.

"Yes we are", I said, the tension getting awkward.

We all soon returned. "You're dating Hyunjin, huh?", asked Minho, once we were alone in the room. It was getting dark and it was time to sleep.

"Yeah, I am", I said, blushing.

"Good to know that you didn't care about my feelings", he said, coldly.

"I liked you at some point", I said. "Just not anymore".

"We literally kissed", said Minho, fuming at me.

"What do you mean? That was by accident", I said.

"So, that doesn't mean I wont feel anything about it", he said.

"You're stressing out over nothing. Just relax", I said.

"How can I? You were so inconsiderate towards my feelings!", he yelled.

"What do you mean your feelings? When I'm dating Hyunjin, you felt sad. When you dated Minju, I felt the same way. I cared about your feelings so much that I didn't fight with you like this, when you dated Minju. In fact, I was happy for you two. No matter how much I third wheeled", I said. "You're complaining now, but back when you dated her I felt so sad, that I couldn't move on. Now I did".

Minho looked at me with guilt and regret in his eyes. "I didn't know that I put you through so much pain", he said.

"It's alright", I said, looking the other way.

That night I slept on the bed and Minho slept on the couch.
